- Acrylic pour on a table - part 1. This is a little beat up side table my husband picked up for his studio. I sanded it and primed it with 2 layers of primer before painting.
Once the table is dry, I will be sealing it with Stone Coat Countertops epoxy (www.stonecoatcountertops.com?aff=20)
Materials used:
Artists Loft Flow Acrylics
acrylic ink
Floetrol
Water
NO SILICONE
Mix ratio: 5 parts floetrol, 3 parts paint, 2 parts water

You are soooo creative and fun to watch!!! My daughter used this technique to paint some canvas's and sorority letters which turned out waaaaaay cool. So I got the bright idea to do our bathroom door at our catering kitchen. Since it was my first project, I am trying not to pick it to death, but I love it!!!! I can't wait to find something else to paint!!!!

Earlier today I was thinking about doing 2 porches, and do a swipe of some sort. Both are very small porches. But I'll have to do some thinking on that. I'm wondering if it would work using concrete paint?

Hi Mindy. No, unfortunately I did not get a chance to. My husband underwent triple bypass surgery and had complications. He will be going back to work Monday. We'll have to see how that goes. And now it's just too hot and humid. But it's still on my mind. Thanks for asking. I'm the type that once I set my mind to do something, I do it. But sometimes life gets in the way. Take care. :)
@@TexasRose50 oh, so sorry to hear about hubby's health issues. Hope he's doing much better now. That life getting in the way of stuff is just so annoying! I love this!! I just built a bench and I'm dying to try this technique on it. I'm a little unsure about trying it on something that isn't square/round as far as where to start the paint (the skinny end vs the long end). Do you have any thoughts on this?

Wow nice1. Ya could try with a boarder rim an off b4 dry or not . Cosmic . Hair dryer with flat funnel push paint it too .must get some paint...
I was just telling my husband I wanted to do something with our coffee table. I see a project coming up.
Will humidity effect the drying of the paint? How long of a drying time do you suggest for humid/hot days? The only area I have currently is my deck, so I'm worried the weather may mess things up. Thanks ❤️

I have s table I want to do but I can’t take the top off. I know I will need to wrap the sides and going to take the front off. Do you have any advice?
was there anything different about that white paint vs the others because it looked like the white almost immediately made cells/speckles?
Not sure if you mentioned this before and I missed it but may I ask why you didn’t mix your paint with silicon ?

Can I use the acrylics colors over the wood , or over marble?
I’m going to do my granddaughter’s trunk/suitcase soon. I have repurposed it before but I chalked painted it but didn’t seal it. Rookie mistake. Do you suggest to pour in small sections? I am not going to use a lot of floetrol because it may weigh it down and I am not going for cells. Just the look.
How did that go?
