It is called "Western Yellow Salsify", Western Goat's Beard, or just Goat's Beard. I have been wanting to get some photos of the seed head. Thanks for the great ideas on how to really work the subject!

I played around with dandalions, with & without flash a once but the photos didn't come out as nice as yours. Nice quick vid.
