Even before it is online the government is already afraid over this conversation.

Buying local has sooo many benefits (beyond the economics).
Organic apples are often sprayed with antibiotics (to prevent fireblight). When you buy apples at the supermarket, it is often impossible to find info on the grower. When you buy your apples from a local grower, you can ask whether they spray antibiotics (and offer alternative options (European growers use grapeseed oil)).
Know your farmer, know your banker, know your butcher!

Lockdowns were mosrly voluntary, society had to buy-in unless and until businesses were threatened with licensure issues. This illuminated the statist element of commerce licensing bureaus. If for instance an independent construction contractor could ignore lockdowns until localities became involved, or licensing boards realized their automatic fresh power.

You can’t say it’s voluntary and then say businesses were threatened

Hotel in Virginia did not refuse reservations for New Yorkers , it wasn’t their job to analyze these things and they were struggling because of the voluntarily compliant sheeple. Hit the road and started testing the system. Don’t ask don’t tell at work . Created crisis. WEF

There was nothing voluntary about the lockdowns. Licensing boards were involved. Police were involved. Localities were involved.

@30JLETO, "it was voluntary" and I clarified that was only until populations bought in with their consent. We live in a Constitutional society and none of the mandates had Constitutional authority...until the public gave away their consent, er voluntarily complied. I know people who did not comply and others who did. , some who were bold and some who caved under pressure.

@@kevinray3240 I get what you’re saying. I just think it can be misleading for those who aren’t as familiar. I agree though

A nurse working in Iran came home 1.5 week post virus news. The RN returned to NY and had no supplies after being gone from home for months. 3 days later Covid case 1 happened in NYC to the ATTY. In those first 10 days of Covid Info was easy to get and many people who had good understanding were being found by the media and hence interviewed. We would have fared better had free and open communication was forth coming. Part of the lock down was to stop public discourse.

In the case of a wide ranging black outs , staying safe is paramount. Get black out curtains for nighttime as a dead give away is the only house on the block with the lights on. There will be those that will want to know…
