Your godly sorrow makes me think of Ezekiel 9:3-6. God tells the angel to destroy everyone in the city of Jerusalem that doesn't have godly sorrow for the wickedness of the nation. Oh, and btw, start at the sanctuary with all those wimpy, weak, and woke elders 😬
I am just starting to read your Wimpy, Weak, and Woke book I picked up a few days ago on kindle. God bless you and your family John. Happy new year, John! Loving the book, loving the album, and loved the concert! I have to admit, I am taken aback at the depth and thoughtfulness of your writing. Sometimes it is surprising that the guy screaming about the psycho in my head is also a powerfully grounded intellectual. But, then, our society places those paradigms on our minds. Of course a man who loves God and pursues Him so earnestly is wise and well-read... there's nothing that says he can't rock the mic at the same time!
God have his burden and that is what makes you weep! You are feeling what He is feeling! It’s a heart of compassion!😭❤️
I just watched an interview with John Bevere (months old video), and he was talking about the condition of the church, that it has been in a "wilderness" since the end of the Jesus movement, because of how the church handled His gifts. But the next and final great move of God is coming very soon, and it will be a movement of the fear of the Lord.
I'm so grateful that my pastor is not afraid to speak about what we have to do and be as believers in this messed up, sinful world. He knows the climate of our society and is glad to speak the truth of God in the face of the evil that surrounds us.

Coop, this is just what I needed. I’ve been weeping lately over sin, sins affect on the world, those who are lost and Christs AMAZING love and grace. I wept when I read in Nehemiah how the Israelites found the law (again) and read it before all the people, then the people wept because they saw Gods mercy and long suffering with His people and they rejected Him time and again and He warned them to turn or else they will be taken captive, they just finished their 70 years in Babylon and saw God was Just and said don’t mourn for today is not a day of mourning but rejoicing and told them to eat the fat and drink the sweet. Enjoy the beauties of this world and give thanks to God for His Justice AND Mercy. I weep when I think of Christs love for Judas Iscariot. He is an awe inspiring God and worthy to be praised. You hit this nail on the head, such a timely message.

I listened three times with closed captioning on to make sure I heard correctly. This is one listener who didn't know this.
So happy to learn that you're a continuationist! After becoming saved, I kind of defaulted to cessationism. After listening to The Remnant Radio provide the Biblical support for continuationism, they convinced me! While there is so much hyper-charismatic abuse, I think the Bible is pretty clear. Totally agree with all you said today!
Lets be effective in our world! The reason the world is in the state it is in is that the body of Christ fell asleep like the unwise virgins! We need to wake up and take our stand in our communities, to be the light and salt of the world! We aren't supposed to be pointing fingers, but establishing a plumb line!
There's a Cooper in my head, making me think about buying a hardcover book... no, seriously, pornography is such a huge problem and probably why teenagers are dealing with the issues they're dealing with (gender dysphoria, sexual confusion, sexual addiction). And then living the whole truth of the Word of God... yeah, we need to get back to that as a church. I'm looking for a church that is willing to just preach from the Word so I can get back to understanding the depth, value, and power of the everyday Christian walk wherever God places me. There have been prophecies about this being a shaking, hard time for everyone but that God will be increasing and blessing his Church as well. I believe good times are coming... God is doing a new and exciting thing!

@cooperstuff Great episode. Me and my buddy discuss a lot how there seems to be an influx in the church of tertiary ways to combat sin or struggles. People saying you gotta read this book or that or join this group. Those things have their place and are great for community but they are not the fix. Seems easier to run to something outside the Word and the Spirit rather than taking a supernatural Highlander sword and wielding it! Thank you for the encouragement! 37:47 I think Billy Graham once said he estimated that 80% of church members in the US aren't really saved. They think they are, but they aren't. Sadly, I bet this extends to leadership. This would explain the lack of concern/action.

Skillet was constantly touring, you were writing a book, (stirring up crazy with the reactions to the title) and yes, the world is heading to hell at breakneck speed. Revival or we die. But I am not afraid. Jesus rules..."I am the earthquake, armies shake at my name; I come for justice, recognize your king..." I can't tell you what a blessing it was to hear your video of "Be Thou My Vision". Like you, I love the hymns. Stay strong; we will continue to pray for you, your family, the band, and the other great voices of this generation: Dr.'s Michael Brown, and James White; Russell Johnson, Remnant Radio, Apologia...to name a few... I know if everyone in the US was saved we would still fail cause we're in a fallen world, But shouldn't the churches that don't believe in saving the unborn question whether they're actually in Christ. Just wanted to hear your thoughts. Note: I'm only 17 so please feel free to correct me, and I like things straight forward so . . .

I can’t read because I’m blind but I am a fan of your music and have been since 2010 and love your passion for God keep up the good work I would like to see you again for the fourth time this time to meet you backstage your entire band is awesome. I have an idea for a tour maybe soon a tour with another one of my favorite bands the newsboys I left a comment on this idea on one of their videos, and that is a tour idea for y’all to tour together and bring back a song that you and Michael did back in the day before he was in newsboys called not in our house if you remember from hero the rock opera from 2003 I would definitely pay to go see that.
I don't know if you heard of Brylan Riggs. John was on his podcast as well. Newsboys are woke along with others. They all need prayers, you might want to read or hear about them yourself. They support Amy Grant's woke LGBTQ stuff. Just an FYI and take care.

I agree 100. I believe what God says. The Bible is the word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit (God) He doesn't lie so we take Him at His word. When people say 'who are you to say you're right?' I'm just like 'I'm not saying...these are God's words and I agree with Him.' He's got a pretty flawless track record just saying.

John 8:12.Again Jesus spoke to them saying I am the light of life world and whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.
Crazy to think that if we walk with Christ... we need to remember that the same Holy Spirit the Resurrected Jesus is the same Holy Spirit that lives within us. What a great gift. John is right, but that power, the Gifts of the Comforter remind me what Jesus said "if you are a friend with this world, you cannot be a friend of God"
Christ never said it will be easy to walk in the Light but it will be worth it... sorry guys but I paraphrase since I the verses can be found for those who search anyway, but it is basically what it comes down to. Yes, every year is worse and I am inclined to think it is getting bad really bad. What I call The Inversion because that is the goal of the devil, to manipulate, deceive and invert.
