I got to see these guys twice. Once the first time around in 1990 in Birmingham, AL. The second time was at Lollapolooza 2003 in Atlanta, GA. I was halfway thru high school when they blew up and anytime I hear any of their stuff from that era the memories come flooding back.
way coolest band of all time....im the same...cant believe its been so long since i saw em live with original line up.....the best ever show. My girlfriend at the time, her flatmate got a backstage pass from dave n...so we all got back and met em...just b4 they broke up..it was at festival hall in brisbane australia...i think 92 hey...owww the memories..ahhh...what a summertime
i can't believe it's been 20 years since i followed these guys around on tour and they're still the most relevant fking band in music any time they reunite. looking forward to this tour.
Aww man the days of Jane's....I saw them so often in the early 90's....about 5 times in just a two years span of time. This will always be my favorite Jane's song.
They Sure Do ROCK & They Absolutely ROCK ON THOSE GUITARS!! THAT ONE GUY IS "GREAT" AS EVER!! OMG. Never Knew I'd LOVE Their Music Like This Until I Actually Sat Down & Listened To It!! AWESOME...M
"I like computers, but i like people better" "if you want a friend, feed any animal" Perry is a genius, Thats great, and so much more relevant today. i love this warm song, reminds me of daydreaming of Leigh ann back in the day (15 years ago ugh), my whole life in front of me. Bored days, wow, how i miss the boring days!
fuck yeah!!! i got goosebumps like a motherfucker. we need more music like these. the legends need not to die from overdose and play music....RIP Kurt, Shannon Moon, and Freddie Mercury!!! you boys made the best music...
Boy did Casey inspire Perry to write beautiful song's, along with, Eric Avery's writing on the majority, of the music.. Last great release, Ritual. Tsssss. What a shame. 😢
the one show i saw out with lenoble on bass was coachella 2002ish ... i wonder if this is it? my memory .. uh ... isn't so good from that show =) of course it was excellent, as all of jane's shows are, regardless of the lineup on-stage.
too bad now all the stupid people take their computers with them and they are a block, and they hold the damn things up so all people behind them can see is the stupid screen instead of the acts....
Cinema Look. -Jim Morrison 13 age. 1986. Song Lyric of Ancients. 9.000 years ago. "whine" is cotton. And then Tail of. And Tell of, need clothes ore what not. People though are covered. In thought. Then. Image covering ones body.
Huge fan of the band. but not this version of STR.... It does not have the feeling that the earlier ones do. Perry almost looks like this is his finals for "American Idol" performance. It is almost like a lets go out there and have a fun time vs. "the lets go out there and tear it up". attitude.
Jane's Addiction is so rad - one of the best bands ever.

AGREE!!!!
These guys changed the way I looked at music back in the day. Every summer since, this song gets a run.

never heard a janes crowd so quiet. it was like they knew they were hearing a great rendition of the song and wanted to take it all in.
I love them. So much talent.
Just spectacular, thank you so much for posting!!! I saw Jane's Addiction in 1995, NIN opened.
Shayne Dalva 1995? There was no jane's in 95
1995? You might have your timeframe off a bit.
In 1995, Dave was in RHCP’s. Perry and Stephen were in Porno for Pyros.
I Love Janes & seen them in L.A. 5 times
The live does not disappoint at all
Perry is always fun to harmonize with.
Watched this so many times.
"I like computers, but i like people better"
"if you want a friend, feed any animal"
Perry is a genius,
Thats great, and so much more relevant today.

Best band of late 80s early 90s
"If you want a friend, then feed any animal." FUCK YES!!! I agree: I like people better than computers, but I like animals more than people.
fuck yeah!!! i got goosebumps like a motherfucker. we need more music like these. the legends need not to die from overdose and play music....RIP Kurt, Shannon Moon, and Freddie Mercury!!! you boys made the best music...
Eric was the greatest! Lets hope this recent reunion brings them all back for good!
Man the internet has gotten so sweet in the last five years or so!!!!!!!

@thedopefx Right on. First time I saw JA was in 1990? Maybe 1989. They opened for Iggy Pop at this club in my town. Been a fan ever since.
Perry Rocks!!!
martyn the man
Lenoble, he gave them groove again.
Boy did Casey inspire Perry to write beautiful song's, along with, Eric Avery's writing on the majority, of the music..
Last great release, Ritual. Tsssss. What a shame. 😢

this is so awesome! much better than studio version
@lucaslmgv It was a kick ass show. Iggy was awesome as usual, and JA kicked ass. Afew months later, JA headlined their own show. It rocked!!!
Shannon Hoon. And I definately agree
@drewskitube Some of the lyrics are different, slightly and the way he sings them is different at some points.

There is more from this concert?

too bad now all the stupid people take their computers with them and they are a block, and they hold the damn things up so all people behind them can see is the stupid screen instead of the acts....
xoxoxoxoox
oh Perry my hero! satisfy my!
2002
he did write a love letter to fiona apple in his own blood. tee hee.
Violet rose.
Was this song meant to be a sequel to Up The Beach? It has a similar bass groove and same kind of slow, dreamy feel.
Bluesy guitar solo, a bit different from Dave?
Where is the wonderful bass?! )':
Perry is so off his game here, voice shot and I thinks hes Xing. Navarro, however never better and this song is legend.

SATAN
No wonder women like guitarists. I'll take Dave's leftovers any day
I just cannot bring myslef to like this video, sorry
What the fuck happened to bass line? It's fucked up in this version...
Eric was the greatest...
