Looks cool. But I really have a question about the Bag. Why the small side opening? I mean... I have a few pieces of Preston kit now, including a very nice X70 16m but the small side openings of preston bags puzzle me. They are very unintuitive to use and when I need the dully butt for example I feel like a vet helping a cow giving birth. And my Pole roller Bags are out of duty collecting dust, while the roller are comfortably stored in my carryall. (I have the small ones😊) am I the only one with a small gripe about that?
You get a bag as well 🤣 No wonder we end up needing a large transit van and to think we started on a bike Would you end up needing 2 of these out on a lake with your Preston platform and deluxe roost? I believe next year Preston are bringing out a submarine
Only used mine 3 times , since purchasing and the end peg rollers flop about , because the blue mech button has stuck down !! Awaiting Preston to sort this issue . Not impressed considering how much it cost me.
Hi Preston , i have spoken to the tackle shop today i purchased it from and they have not got round to speaking to you yet about it . I have no intention at my expense to send this item back unless reimbursed . Product has been used in rain , hence stuck. £159.99 so not happy .
Des I've been fishing since I was a kid, I'm 60 now, I can go back to the days we used Tufts of grass and bramble, it's not essential, rollers for what they are worth, make the job easier, but the price is rediculous, I'll still use holdalls etc, which I have already paid a fortune for,. getting dead level 😂 we never give much of a fuck back in the day, something to take the the pole, why now do they cost 100 quid.
Not sure how they're justifying this for the same price as the new Daiwa rockin roller, which is a double roller, with a tilt mechanism, adjustable middle section and more adjustments on the legs
@@UKprestoninnovations Ah, okay. I thought the new Absolute roller was £159.99, and the 4-leg Daiwa rockin roller is on sale in most retailers for £159.99, such as TackleUK and Bristol Angling centre. I will withhold judgement until it hits retailers and whether they are sold at RRP or slightly below as Daiwa are now.
Had a pop at Preston when i saw the price. However my map ones are wobbly so i bought one. I gotta say i take back what i originaly said as this piece of kit is the bees knees 😂
Makes you wonder how people can afford these items of tackle. I wonder if they are the same people that complain about the price of milk and butter... Yet find £150 for a pole roller is no problem. £4 grand poles £2 grand seat boxes £150 pole rollers Then everything else comes on top And then there is the bait, match fees etc I wouldn't even if I could ! Alritte for Des, he gets it for nothing,
We have products to cover all price points. The Absolute Pole Roller is a flagship product, for those people that want the very best we now have an option for them. We're simply covering all price points.
Blimey, what a roller, and what a price for what is a made in China product for about 10£ worth of materials over there and a bowl of rice in labour. I don't pole fish anymore, however, I remember when the original BOSS rollers were £40, and they were classed as "overpriced" Then the Boss Rocking rollers came out for about £60 if I remember rightly. Think I still have mine somewhere... lol
Buddy everything is more money ain't it know not just tackle! Daiwa rock n rollers are £180 for the small and more for large! Preston only going same way everything is going to be fair
Had mine two months, with in two weeks one of the roller bearings come out, so took it back to A D they got me a new one, 5 weeks later did the same think, shocking took them both back to AD and waiting on preston now, very poor service from Angling Direct when there only 8 weeks old, wanted my money back, now got to wait👺🤬💩
We're simply accommodating for all price points. Flagship products are what some people require, this now fills that gap which we had. If you're looking for something cheaper, check out the Inception range.
Des Ship you should be disgusted in yourself promoting this ridiculously overpriced product. Had the shock of my life when I saw the price. Preston hold your heads in shame. Capitalism at its finest. Ill stick with my MAP thanks 😮
The spring comes out the middle roller making it not spin, so when the pole passes it rides up exposing the hard plastic. I took it back to AD and they swapped it, and the new one has done the same, it has to be a design fault 👎 shame cos it’s really good bar this
Are there a specific type of extension for these? Or is it the same leg extensions that fit the inception rollers?
It's the same leg extenders😁

Put your dolly butt in the side pouch on the preston bags.
With the centre roller being able to be removed, an attachment could be fitted in place that turns the roller into roost..perhaps?🤔
Preston Absolute Pole Roller - £159.99 Way too much.
it’s alright if your getting them free 😂 😜🤔😳

If you spent 3 grand plus on a pole, 300 on a couple of decent rollers to keep it safe is a good investment.
@@paulgarrett4474
Not everyone spends 3000 on a pole.
@paulgarrett4474 or you're a tackle tart ?
Does this mean my preston xl inception rollers that I bought 3 months ago are a load of crap ???🤔
Sure. But you can give them to me and I discard them for you😊😂
I have the preston inception xl rollers. Get 2 for the price of one Absolute roller and does exactly the same thing
Nice one.

Hi Tony, If you return the item back to the retailer you purchased it from they can then send it back to us for inspection.

dont forget you need a van to match fish now to pack all the piper alpha gear in
Bootiful....
When it’s really windy I’d be on the top 2. Can I have you’re old rollers Des I’ve still got Y rollers….Preston so they’ve lasted well 👍
i still have y rollers and they do the job

I’ve got 2 Preston rollers. The telescopic legs lock in but the legs still move! Annoying AF.

They aren't the same price. The Absolute Roller is much cheaper :)

You get what you pay for , and lets be honest Preston does make decent gear,
Do they ?
roller aint high! its Des thats short 🤣
Not great if you are fishing with a high bank behind you. Matrix ones are much better

id rather use my carryall than pay 160 nicker for a pole roller
Bet it costs an absolute fortune
£160 per roller
