    Great video Dina! That Kramnik casts Danya's generosity and community spirit as something nefarious is just gross.

    Appreciate you showing your support for Danya. I have known Danya and considered him a friend for many years. Between online and OTB I have played him 200+ times and never once felt for even a moment that I was playing someone using assistance. Fair play checks are good, but witch-hunts are destructive and terrible for the chess community. I hope Kramnik and Nepo can start to realize that. Meanwhile I will work on playing like GM Kayden Troff since I apparently forgot how to do so.

    • @Meritzio
      @Meritzio 3 місяці тому +12

      Kramnik does realize it unfortunately, but I suspect he is behaving deliberately because he has other motivations behind creating doubt and suspicion. I don't know about Nepo I have not seen enough of his behaviour but there is certainly something off about the behaviour. Advocating for more anti-cheating checks in chess is okay, but accusations should be dealt with privately unless they have overwhelming evidence which they do not.

      Supporting friends is fine, but Daniel runs an engine during online play. He has a problem.

    • @Wargasm54
      @Wargasm54 3 місяці тому +8

      @@grantschiff7544he pulled up an engine in a game he had already won with an 1100 rated player. And he pulled it up because it was an instructional video and he was going to use the engine to analyze the game. Granted, it probably wasn’t a good move considering his is a GM and could easily have explained everything off the top of his head as he is a GM and has the knowledge. But if you really think he was cheating, then there’s probably nothing I can say to you to rethink your position. Was it dumb? Yeah, probably ill advised just from an optics standpoint. But he definitely wasn’t using it to gain any kind of advantage.

    Hilarious. I came here to see what Danya's behaviors were OTB, noticed he looks frequently at the same spots with intensity, particularly in areas where things are happening (unconscious distraction while not actually looking at the events) - turns out so many other have done the same thing. I think it is evident that Danya simply looks away from the board A LOT, OTB or computer, blitz or classical. This particular allegation seems upended. If only Kramnik and others would look at evidence like so many others have done before posting extremely long-winded responses about psychology and how no one does this, we might not be in this situation.

    Danya is no cheater. He is giving so much to the chess community. Personaly i love his instructive videos like many others. I would say to him dont try to convince mr. Kramnik, he cannot be convinced. Het is just a grumpy old man. In fact I think its pretty sad the way he behaves. Danya just keep your good work going which I believe comes straight from your ❤. Also Dina your streams are also so great. Keeep it up!!

    Danya keeps looking to the left... what's he looking at? That's right, he's looking at the floating game board with the eval bar. I knew it.
    (Huge fan of Danya, thanks for uploading this, it's always fun to watch you guys play)

    I love Danya's streams and his speed runs are brilliant in their educational content. he seems like a very lovely person and I've spoken to him a few times online. This witch-hunt is horrible and he is in a no win situation. if he attacks he's got something to hide, if he says nothing - he must have something to hide. I really don't envy what he is going through and hopes he comes through this okay.

    Not enough camera angles. Those paintings on the wall might be giving engine move suggestions.
