Back in the 70's till about the mid 80's my Aunt and Uncle had a ceramic shop, and I remember going there all the time with my Mom and I would get to paint little knick knacks and my Mom would do the big projects like she made me a Little Old Woman Who Lived In A Shoe nightlight, MissPiggy lamp, and a ceramic Christmas Tree that I still have 😉
Your Value Village has all sorts of treasures. I finally made it out to mine and was disappointed by how overpriced it was! I sort of expected it but they don’t have a whole lot of selection for what they were charging. I found some vintage ornaments, so I’m excited to decorated my tree with those. It’s wild how popular all this stuff became. I remember growing up with “vintage” things and carried on that appreciation well into my young adult years. It was not cool when I had it and now I’m a “hipster” for enjoying it. (I’m sure you can relate!! 😂 Ain’t no winning!!) Now it’s hard to come by due to social media!
