You are so many steps above my level but for some reason I can relate so much to your videos and it’s feeling almost as if I’m skiing myself instead of watching a video. Extremely sick skiing man
Fantastic. You hit so many powder stashes, I’m truly amazed. Thank You for editing all footage of skiing access roads and run outs. Thank you for skiing the routes that a snow cat would AVOID!
This is my home mountain, and you have showcased it very well! This is now gonna be my go-to video to share with anyone interested in our beautiful little mountain. 🤙
Silverstar is a hidden gem in all honesty. Caters for every ability. But if you like your gnarly stuff there are so many good lines to be had. Especially if you know where to look, there are some hidden lines all over, especially on the back. Such a good time.
@@zalan_mtb51 and at the right time, we don't have powder as consistently as areas of cold temperate rain forests like japan or the west coast of us/canada
Hey bro we have the same skis and I’ve been trying to nose butter on them but so far I just just can’t, my DIN is at 10 but the bindings jpop when I lean that far out and the ski doesn’t flex at all. Can u butter on them or is it the skis
Hi, loooved the video. Want to go skiing so bad now. I just have a question, you as a professional could answer: how dangerous is "wild skiing"? Just from the looks, for me it is the pinnacle of skiing, but you always here how dangerous it is, that you could fall over hidden rocks or trees, hit your head and die. Look at what happened to Michael Schumacher. What do you think? Is this a very risky way of skiing? Or just as risky as mountainbiking etc.? Thanks for the answer :)
There are definitely some dangers but I find it not as dangerous as mountain biking. Skiing is very condition dependent so you’re more likely to get hurt when it’s icy. Your also more likely to hit rocks and trees under the snow early season. Just work your way up slowly and make smart decisions and you can reduce the danger greatly.
@@BCmtb Ya went on your homepage and only saw the one video from the silver star, all the rest are from whistler but that's chill Still gonna support tho!
this is my actual dream and i am not even joking. Sadly i live in europe, not even in the snowier places and go on to austria once a year, but sadly i am so unlucky i have never skied fresh pow :(
@@BCmtb nice! I just got my DJI Action 3 and it has been incredible in the cold. I usually last from 9-2 every day on a single battery and use a second one afterwards. The coldest I've tried so far is -15C but I'm hoping to push it to its limits!
I fucking love this resort. I’m from Washington but my family and I discovered this resort a few years back and have been taking trips up ever since. Do you know where that structure at *3:14* is located on the mountain? Dope video btw💯‼️
@@BCmtb I'm not sure if it would help or hurt but of its 0⁰ F or lower I will usually use a heavy moisturizer like aquaphore or petroleum jelly.. a thin layer on your skin will allow your skin to be somewhat thermally insulated and protected from dry air.
I cannot even begin to explain how good these videos are.
i second this, more please. love from the UK
Couldn't have said it better
im think im having a skigasm

I agree
Of course we have, you just have to be at the right place
@@zalan_mtb51 and at the right time, we don't have powder as consistently as areas of cold temperate rain forests like japan or the west coast of us/canada
near where I live we have a lot of powder sometimes, but not often
Man I hope to get your level one day. That looks utterly exhilarating. Good stuff my friend, you are totally metal 🤘
and that my friend is a subscription right there 🔥
This is one of the best ski videos I've ever seen. Who is the skier? He can ski with the best of them. Terrific freakin ski video!!
its so awesome to see someone skliing at my home hill

The sound effects makes the video 10 times better!
After spending some time in a tree-well a few seasons back, this gave me some PTSD. Yet still looks like a blast.
Do they put the ski centre at the bottom of the hill then so you don't end up miles from it after running out of down?
Yah. Silverstar is a weird resort cause the village has lifts above it but also lifts going down below it
Such great footage ❤❤❤
you slayed that mountain. good job
gnarly overrotation on that drop 3 🙌🤘
Acquired minor concussion. Definitely gotta work on those

Good to see people unencumbered by the knowledge about tree wells.
Solid skiing. Thought it looked like POV mtbiking then saw your handle. Will check out more of your videos.👍
Hello BCmtb, just curious of the skis you're riding with. Are theses the Atomic Maverick 100?
Super nice video btw, thanks.
Thanks. Atomic bent chetler 100
Think silverStar would be a good place to work a season?
Insane jumps and skiing, great video

Awesome skiing!! I may have missed it, but you must have skied the backside as well?
Unfortunately it was closed pretty much the whole time we were there. I guess they didn’t want people getting stuck back there in -30
really makes me want to go skiing again
Perfect Video
I thought I was the only one making random noises during runs. Sick video bro
Thanks. I don’t even realize until I watch the videos back

How do you have your gopro mounted?
Oh man, you can just heeeeaaarrr how good this snow was in the first 10 seconds 😩
this is insane! What cam did you use to get such epic shots without it dying in the cold?
Thanks! I use a gopro hero 9 and keep it and some spare batteries in my pocket with some hand warmers. I only keep it on my helmet when filming

You are not allowed on it but it is part of the title line in the summer, it is in gofer glades on sundance
What arre those skis?
I wish to get this much snow where i live... But its just cold and never snows
really love the unedited format of your videos! you should come film out in Revy if you get the chance!
Thanks. Revy has been on my list for a while so hoping to check it out soon. Maybe this season

It’s pretty warm here now too. This was filmed a while ago
