These girls are the most beautiful girl band on earth and confession it was love at first sight for me with the blonde. But seriously can anyone name a girl band more beautiful than these angels!
Still love this one, what a fine group of young ladies performing this oldie, they call it the Carpenters replay, I call it the Marvelettes replay in my day.
i loved the marvelettes, the beatles, karen carpenter. each rendition was great in it's own right, but this cover just makes me happy when i listen to it and we all can use happy pills these days. been listening to this in a loop for 45 min. and counting!!!!!!!☮☮✝✝
That is incorrect, the Beatles nor the carpenters got there start from Motown. The Beatles, carpenters, elvis Presley re did alot of Motown songs and took credit and made alot of money off of Motown songs. Alot of artist, like little Richard and various artists were rob of dignity and their professionalism. Because of racial barriers during the doo wop era and the early ballroom ballot era.for example the rivieras were a great quintet group who made various songs. Like moonlight serenade ,count every star, moonlight serenade and other hit songs. That never reached number 1 on the charts. Because of segregation and racism. And a lot of political nonsense. What kind of president would support laws on segregation. When we have a constitution that gives all mankind the same equal rights.songs are only meaningful when they are song by the original artists.because they know the meaning behind why they wrote and perform the song.

Very beautiful and talented women. I don't believe there has ever been a better time in my life that recorded such astonishing songs. Songs like this takes me back to my childhood. They were wonderful years.
I saw the Marvelettes perform Mr. Postman live at their July 1988 outdoor performance at the White Plains, NY High School. It was great to see them there back then.
I don't think that the Carpenters were credited with performing this song, first. I know that the Beatles had a version out before the Caprenters. The Marvelettes performed it first in 1961.
The Carpenters released a "pop" remake in 1975. In the late 60's, early 70's, Burt Bacharach, Sergio Mendez and Herb Alpert exploded the music scene with the "pop" of brass and song notes. Many of the Carpenters songs had that pop sound and Mr Postman we perfect to go with the genre of the day. And then, there is the unmistakable beauty of Karen's voice on anything she did.
Great cover-I didn't think I would like any versions other than the Marvelettes or the Beatles-but you ladies are doing a fantastic rendition; besides being beautiful and lovely to watch! Way to go, young ladies!!!!
I'ts great to see a different girl group making a wonderful performance liked any kind of girl groups of the next generation to see just like any legendary girl groups don't matter what ages they are.
mr postman by saturday waiting for my letter and feelbetter got delivered it from my address so nice great performance doing job well done from fe makati city
The Saturdays are an English girl group based in London, England. The group formed during the summer of 2007 and have been on hiatus since 2014. The lineup consists of Frankie Bridge, Una Healy, Rochelle Humes, Mollie King, and Vanessa White. They have sold over 8 million records in the UK and Ireland
There was a mistake. Please Mr. Postman went to Number One in 1961 by The Marvelettes which was the First Number One Song by a Girl Group at Motown before The Supremes who helped epitomize The "Original" Girl Group Phenomenon. The Beatles did their version and only in 1975 that The Carpenters took to Number One. That should have been acknowledged.
Although I know no one can ever get remotely close to Karen Carpenter, I like this performance by The Saturdays. They're drop-dead gorgeous and have fantastic voices.
@@waisho-otoko-matsugo-agaki have you not heard of girl and boy bands? google it. and they are clearly miming, dont have the decency or talent to sing live

If The Saturdays were still recording as a group, Little Mix would still be in the queue at the dole office. Every one of these young ladies has a super voice and they ALL look stunning.
