Personal favorite from the video was the Vetroo V5 cooler, I used a similar one (different brand but pretty sure same manufacturer) in a recent build and the performance is really good, a few degrees cooler compared to the popular Hyper 212 from Cooler Master. Just hoping the price doesn't go up when more people realize how much of a bargain these are
@@gabyk3148 no rgb header on your motherboard means no lights unfortunately, but the cooler and default fan color looks good regardless. The only other way is if you use any other parts that have a control hub, like the case or fans, and they use the standard 3 pin argb you can plug into that, usually these types of controllers are powered by sata and have manual controls and are independent of the motherboard

The EZDIY RGB RAM covers, the Phanteks Neon strips, Uphere ARGB fans, an RGB splitter, cable extensions, and a two-pack of ARGB strips wrapping from the back of the CPU to the underneath for underglow. I've got all of the PC RGB elements and the behind monitor RGB strips connected to the splitter in the PC, controlled by the EZDIY RGB RAM controller remote. It just works so well and for so cheap. Plus so many other budget setup modifications. Once I'm done my setup I'm submitting for budget Setup Wars. Can't wait!

Depends on the prebuilt, if it's like a dell then you're shit outta luck, but if you have an iBuyPower, CyberPower, etc. then you can just buy a new case and switch everything over, maybe with some shiny new RGB parts.
a note to anyone looking to get phanteks neon strips, based on roughly 5 months of daily use: -they're nicely diffused but because of that they're not as bright, be aware if you have darker side panel tinting -phanteks has a huge QC problem with their rgb products, many people experience discolouring after a little while, happened with my strips where the white has shifted to a more green tint -they're not ARGB so individual control and effects are fairly limited, also depends on your mobo software

If you're worried about affordability, you should just go Intel since you probably aren't buying the highest end stuff. Intel is THE budget/mid-range player now(especially with continued DDR4 support), as AMD refuses to release lower priced CPU's, abandoning the market that saved them just a few short years ago.
The fact that I have almost the same everything that you are showing in this video just makes me feel that much better about what I got. I have those exact fans and almost the same CPU cooler and almost the same custom cables but my cables I do thing are better.
