I’m very interested in giving the Heddphone a listen. I’ve really enjoyed their loudspeakers. These guys are thinkers that know music and what instruments should sound like. We need companies like this to shake things up. IMO companies like Audeze have been slow to respond with innovation. They’re like the Harley Davidson of the headphone world. I like the LCD-4 and absolutely love the Utopia but... At less than the cost of that headphone used, this is actually an enticing possibility.
6:15 Wise words! very hard to reproduce various piano signatures, the notes wavelength fills the entire room such a prominent sound! yet so hard to "copy"
So the future heddphones are an affordable closed back vereion. And an uber expensive crazy high end one. I'll most likely stick to the one that I've already cause it sounds natural and stupidly detailed. One thing this hobby taught me is newer doesn't mean better at least to everyone's hearing and taste ( example I like the hd650 far more than the hd800 due to its tonality ). I'm really happy for them that they are getting the attention they fully deserve. As for the closed back version I like my Sony z1r more than other high end closed headphones, and I tried nearly all of the high end closed headphones but I'm very picky especially with closed backs, and the Sony's are perfect.
@@Krankynator nope they aren't insanely bassy. To me it sounds closer to an he1000v2 or an audeze lcdx. But believe it or not the detail in the bass is better on the Sony's. I guess that impression came due to the big sound stage it can deliver, both tall and deep, so it's a bit enveloping, but never scattered it's very accurate to what the recording venue presents, never congested. Sony used Canadian soft wood and processed it in the same way they make Japanese doors and walls in order to combat resonances. Focal nailed the closed back design by lets say 90 percent for the focal elegia and stellia. But sony in my opinion nailed it by 98 percent, it's near perfect. I don't know why no one tried to copy their mechanism, maybe it's too complicated.
@@HEDDAudioGmbH will the next model be lighter, before i purchase this one. Promise me if i purchase this one, you wont make lighter models that sound just on par or better than this release
Really? For the same price, even? To be clear about something: I keep reading that the soundstage here seems to adjust as more sounds are coming through; would that affect reliability in gaming? (Yes, I'm an idiot who spends that much mainly for gaming, but I also love music - I have Focal Clear Professionals).
I'm about a month away from buying the HD800, to mod with the Super Dupont Resonator. I play FPS games a lot, and the top gamers highly recommend those. But THIS just hit the market...
@@darrellharwood6600 for gaming, the HEDDphone might be too heavy - especially for long sessions. Hd800s would be the way to go, or SDR if you find an old hd800
If this guy's from Germany, his English is incredibly good with that taken into consideration.

My ears received this information and processed it, but an entirely different part of my body reacted to it.

It would be nice to compare Hedd AMT Gold Planar AMT, and Monolith AMT headphones.

Excellent audio quality and stage of your informations are very good ,nice
You forgot to mention ribbon drived headphones
They obviously know what they're doing!
Off topic, but how would you compare teh ZMF Auteur to the Verité?
What's next dynamic planar magnetic electrostatic ribbon driver air motion transformer all in one I think that would be a mouthful of specs
sir,if you have the possibilities..review the denon 9200!!
is it possible to reduce the weight? i know it's good but one cant hear music with a broken neck
The headband also doesn’t extend far enough imo. I’m a tiny human and my ears hit the bottom of the pads.

HEDDphone vs HD800S (or modded HD800)... Nearly impossible to find people vaguely comparing...
Oh, HEDDphone absolutely. That's an easy one.

Fair point.
I love HEDD so very much, but no pair of headphones should cost anything close to $2000, unless they’re made of pure 24 carat gold.
Очень дорого! Блядь!
