WOW! I have been a professional graphic designer, using Illustrator every day, for the past 5 years and this tutorial was incredibly helpful!!! All the newbies come in using Procreate with their fancy texture brushes, and I've been trying to figure out how to make textures without learning a whole new software and buying an iPad. THANK YOU!!!
EXTREMELY helpful video, no shit talk, straight to the point.. Over all one of the best tutorials I have seen on youtube. Really love the way you present and explain, its dumb proof and all the editing is ON point! Gj man and thanks a lot! Deserved way more views. Maybe make shorter videos to attract a broader audience? But keep those long videos too! I love them.
100% correct. There are so many terrible mute tutorials! UA-cam should add functionality EG only show VOICE tutorials, only show English tutorials, only show recent Adobe software version tutorials, this would be SO much better!
Where were you when I was in college. Best tutorial I have come across for illustrator. I'd consider this more of a deep dive into illustrator. You should really look into being an instructor at the Adobe Max conferences. None of of the workshops were this good.
I would easily say this is an intermediate to advance tutorial, I learned so much here! Which is refreshing compared to other tutorials that only stay at very basic skills. The explanation was great, step by step approach, straight to the point. Repeating information to make it clear! I felt like in a classroom, you are a great teacher! 10/10 One of the best real tutorials on youtube. Thank you.
After doing this twice now, my skill level has dramatically increased. Your use of repetition has kept the steps in my mind until they became second nature. Thank you so much for your time, your effort, and your kindness towards those of us just starting. I can't wait to see more of your tutorials!
This video made me learn a lot. Many things that I just knew I could do. It really surprised me because I learned to use this program last year at university but when I only watched this video for 10 minutes. I have to pick up the notebook and take note of you. From now on I will be able to use this program more conveniently. Thank you so much💜💜💗💕
This is the kind of video that I will continue to reference. The consistency of the explanation makes it predictable to parse. Time stamps organized so I can see how deep into it i need to get. Wonderful! Thank you.
It won't be fair if I don't thank you for making such detailed and clear video. I checked almost 20-25 videos for a topic and I landed here on your page, I saved it for later and then after going through it step by step I decided to subscribe it with bell button. A big thank you for such great tutorials and I really like the way one can download the illustration as well to learn. Good work 👍...
2022 Dec 29 I saw half of the video and applied at random shapes. now i can say i fully understand what mask is and how to play with tabs and all of that stuff. i wasted months on show off tutorials 💔 big thanks to you mate 👍🏻❤
i dunno how this channel SO UNDERRATED! I've seen a lot about how to texture/grain-y from other channel but not all of that channels as clear and straight forward like this! The other channels like "ok, we give u sum tutorial about something but not really...", U deserve more subscriber dude!
this is by far the best illustrator tutorial i've ever watched, thank you so much for all the tips you taught, they'll certainly make my workflow better. keep it up!
This tutorial is amazing!! I’ve seen so many tutorials only cover one or two aspects of illustrator, but I love how comprehensive and easy to follow this video is. Made me realize I could have been working so much more efficiently all this time- thank you for the wisdom!! Keep it up! :)
This what this channel is all about - to change game. You found very well describing words, my friend! Watch other videos, because I do my best in each tutorial to help you become a professional illustrator.
Thank you so much for this AMAZING tutorial. Straight to the point, helpful repetition, many different methods - one of the absolute best AI tutorials I have seen! ❤
Yes, indeed. I played with noise a lot and was very inspired when I discovered this method. I’m very proud that you appreciate. My pleasure to share with you, Regan! ❤️❤️❤️
AMAZING tutorial, very useful to have all texture techniques together in one and very clearly explained with voice, NOT mute with annoying music. I will follow.
Of course, mister Al Pacino! I’m your big fan and I know that your standards are outstandingly high 👌 Seriously, man, I’m honored. Thank you so much 👋🤘
Found purely by chance while I was putting off the next phase of a bird vector artwork because I was unsure how to move forward. Man I love synchronicity this had everything I was looking for and more! Thank you really informative in fact proabbly the best AI tutorial I have seen in a long time.
Your video is SO helpful! thank you so much for the time and simple explanation. The ninth method is something I really didn't know how to make, and it was very easy to learn with you.
Thank you so much for being so generous in sharing your knowledge, this is going to help me so much in my illustration. Been looking for tutorials on how to add texture to my designs and this is by far the best tutorial I could find. Can't thank you enough.
This was very informative. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Appreciate the time and effort that goes behind the filming process and the clear & concise explanation throughout the video. I can't thank you enough!
Thank you, my friend! Please learn and enjoy. We live in amazing time, when we can share knowledge and experience with each other in one click, so let’s use this at 100%. Stay tuned, there will be much more to learn and grow as professional illustrator!
@@tt_tutorials thanks a lot! returned to your tutorial again, having a question this time concerning your 6th method: in my work I created a circle and used the opacity mask just as you explained. I want to created a smoth gradient of a color from the bottom of the circle up to the top, filling it with a grain texture. I want the color to completelly dissapear on the top of this circle. The color gradient works just fine, but when I apply the grain texture and zoom in you can still see some little rests of the grain on the upper part of the circle, so it is not completely blending into the white color of the background. So here is my question : what one can do with this rests of the grain? Hope you see this message ! would be glad you could help me out, and thank you a lot anyway !
great videos. Thank you. But can you please make a tutorial or show us how to save these files so they are ready to print. I'm making some art like this and need to learn how to save it so that it can be made into a puzzle. Quality of saving has to be good. Thank you.
@@tt_tutorialsit's not that easy. You forgot to mention that most of your effects actually use document raster effect settings. Those imply to all those special effects which are basically photoshop filter inside illustrator. By default it uses 72dpi. When you change it to say 300, most of those effect change their visual representation. It's very important to start it at 300, because the outcome of them will look vastly different. Simply export in pdf at max setting isn't going to work. You need to make sure what transparency settings you use as well. These settings are all very important when making files print ready
