SIDE HUSTLE Flipping Furniture!

Flipping furniture can have its risks! I have found underwear, jewelry, and other personal items… As well as the occasional bug and rodent!
Generally, I get to it(crawly things) BEFORE I bring it into the house. This piece was purchased at an auction where the furniture is always in great condition and clean so I’m pretty sure this friendly mouse came from my garage. 🤷🏻‍♀️
The color combination came from a Netflix show I’m watching right now. I was surprised at a bright blue vase in front of a sea-foam green/blue wall. It turned out better than I even thought!

Dixie Belle- TidePool, Pure Ocean, Damask stencil, Gel Stain American Honey
Paint Couture- Champagne Metallic Glaze
Amazon-Copper Gilding Wax
Blue Hawk-small stenciling brush
I forgot to mention in the video that I used a water-based satin clearcoat to seal everything in at the end.

Beautiful! The Tiffany Blue is 1 of my favorite colors. It's considered 1 of the Peacock colors. It's very popular right now & all metallics look great with it. I'm using it on some projects also.😊

Hey this piece turned out beautifu I love lots of colors and I'm trying to learn how to layer and make all the colors come through the final coat but for some reason I can't master that. l I have one question ...is that wallpaper on your walls or is that a faux finish??

It’s a faux finish. Instead of normal spray texture on the walls, I used a spatula to smear it on. Then, after painting, I put a glaze on and wiped back. Glad you like it!
