I flip furniture as a side hustle! I give tips and tricks on how you can do the same!

Not everything ends up as it was originally intended. These filing cabinets were no good to anyone without the key so I knocked out all of the locks and filled the holes with Bondo.
I sanded everything smooth and had to use a softer wood filler to top off the Bondo because it was easier to sand completely smooth.
After painting, I thought juuuuust one more thing. I used a mylar stencil called Polished Concrete from WoodUBend and some silver gilding wax from Dixie Belle to give it some PIZZAZ!
I spray painted the original hardware with Rustoleum in Metallic and called it a day!

Hi how long does it take you to sell them I’m trying to flip furniture I got to nice side tables night stands painted them varnished them like you did and post them to sell and they don’t comment does it take awhile to sell to make profit
Hey there! I'm so sorry that your experience with flipping furniture has been less than stellar. I list my stuff on Marketplace but only sell about 10% of it on there. And by the time you sift through all of the scammers I question whether or not it's worth it every time. I sell a lot more by renting spaces around the metroplex. I have a total of 8 booths within vendor malls where I take my furniture. I also have to keep in mind what sells. Gray, white, and beige, as boring as they are to paint, sell much better than when I do color on something. Are you close to a place where you might be able to rent an 8 X 10ft booth? Maybe put some small home decor in there as well?

You have good luck finding furniture. Sometimes Facebook marketplace is expensive and far to pick up.
I agree. I do much better at yard sales and curbside trash than I ever do on Marketplace.
Reupholstering corners is as hard. I usually have to do them twice😂

Painting it didn't bother me. I could tell it was that plastic crap. Would have had a problem if it was a beautiful antique burled tiger wood in perfect condition though! What did bug me was not that you used color, but the color of blue you used on the bottom. A different tone of blue and I would have been on board. But you do you, boo and I hope you got a lot of cash for it.
