My salary could have been bigger, as my business did OK in 2020. Since I expected to save money in 2020, I reinvested in my business instead of getting more money out of it.
Every year is a mental battle of how much I should invest either back in my company or personally. By my standards, I invested or saved the most in 2020 I've ever done in a single year.

Όπως έλεγε κι ο Γονίδης, αμοιβαία τα αισθήματα! Νομίζω ότι πέτυχες ιδανικά το timing, αφού μπήκες στο χαμό ακριβώς εκεί που έπρεπε. Ελπίζω να έχεις σχέδιο για το πότε και πώς θα βγεις και κυρίως να έχεις την πειθαρχία να το ακολουθήσεις! Καλή χρονιά αν κι ελπίζω να τα πούμε και πριν την Πρωτοχρονιά και πάλι. ;)

Hi Jim, great to have some news :)
2020 was not a great year for income but was great for expenses, spent much less than the average of previous years (and I am quite frugal).
Do you actually own $TSLA (and other stocks) or do you trade CFDs? What broker do you use? Still based in Greace?
I also missed the great dip in the us markets, but the markets are full of opportunities. Hope you strike some. Keep us posted!

2020 was the year of frugality, wasn't it? Unfortunately I do not own any stock. Don't trade CFDs either. I use Interactive Brokers for stocks and metals. Yep, still in Greece. Can't beat the lifestyle.
Opportunities never end, but it was a big one back in March to miss that! Let's hope we won't miss the next one; fingers crossed it doesn't happen in another ten years' time.

Hi Jim! Any particular reasoning for buying Ripple and Monero instead of Ethereum and Zcash, for instance? When people buy other cryptos other than Bitcoin I'm always interested in why they chose the ones they end up with.
Hey Stan, Ripple was based on chart analysis as I thought I was trading a bullish flag pattern at the time. That looked promising for a day or two before it collapsed. I like Monero because of its focus on privacy, so I'm investing on its unique usage. I was meaning to invest only in Bitcoin and did so for years, until I decided to diversify a little this month. I suppose whoever is buying anything other than Bitcoin is hoping for a bigger upside, compared to Bitcoin. Yet, I myself doubt this will happen unless you are (very) lucky. Thanks for watching!
