Sorry about some of the dippy audio in this. My laptop "helpfully" adjusts my sound settings when I connect my headphones. Anyway, since Icemelta is far from the only headline banner this month, I thought it might be a nice idea to revisit these and see if they still hold up.

I really like this style of video. It not only keeps us up to date on how the meta of the game shifts, but its also really interesting to see how a high level player analyzes how the game evolves. How your opinions may change or stay the same. I just find it fascinating and it gives great insight. Its also nice and chill and relaxed and feels quite calming. At least for me it is.

Returning player here after years and didn't get far previously (only lvl 10 when I stopped and lvl 35 now). Not enough resources about this game so glad I found your channel. Keep it up 👍
Maybe a bit of returners luck but pulled the Ice queen, awakened one and Wettham. Just need to find how to build them and team comps now
Nice, very good start! You won't need to worry about the real nitty gritty of how to build them for a while: just make sure you're using weapons that increase their primary attacking stat (INT for Ice and AO, ATK for Wehttam). As far as team comps, the very basics will get you far: you want a tank, a healer, a mix of DPS, and ideally they'll all share a faction so they can be buffed (Fusion Power) by the same faction buffer / leader.
Going for Awakened one. Got lucky with Ice queen so hoping I can duplicate that luck.
Update: So summoned for her. This is a weird thing, I got her in 130 summons but had to do it the brute force method. Via dupes I got enough shards for her. So in 130 summons I received 5 SSR dupes. On pull 40 3 SSR dropped, pull 80 1SSR, pull 130 1 SSR.
I will add that aside from Nidhogg, I prefer Apotheosis over Wehttam for PvE. Got him when I still had 70 Phoenix to finish, and even without a faction buff Apotheosis put in good work and lowered the Phoenix damage output.
AO being able to one shot Leviar, S rank Fenrir, & buff all of the collab units + versatility makes her still a must summon in my view.
Managed to pull ao in about 6 multis, she's really fun

Glad you enjoyed! I think this is a nice middle ground between skipping rerun banners altogether and making whole new videos for them.
So far in my tries to get Icemelda I got:
Emilia (already have her but not 6 stars)
Andriole Lul (didn't have him so it's great) (that's for my past no luck, when I wanted Isolde I got Jayce twice, when I wanted Eshean I got Hoffman)
Apotheosis is the only one of the current four limiteds that I dont have, but I'm way more concerned with trying to get Lightbringer and Christiane on the Oathsworn banner tbh.
20:41 That kind of looked like interruptception. Real life Kong leaning forward to interject a correction, but the recorded version of Kong beat real life Kong with an interruption of the correct info.
regarding 9:39 . What if they make a wish banner for Limited Heroes only? I guess if they did that, I'm not sure what they would do about consolation shards. If you get to pick 2 limited heroes, maybe get rid of them? Or if you get to pick 1 limited hero wish banner, keep the consolation shards.
24:10 Divine Oathsworn wishlist banner looks to be up for the entire length of the MU (Major Update, not the green haired little nature vessel/android). Is this the first time the Divine Oathsworn wishlist banner be up for so long?

Is the AoE helmet also good for the awkword one? When her C3 + Black hole count as AoE.
And there is a SSR Equipment back in the Money Shop. Is there the weapon Ragnarok inside?
I get one with the Event Forge for Isolde so i would buy one more for Grenshiiii
AO can't use the owl hat because she can't equip light headgear. It looks like the gear bag covers all non-battlepass gear, so Ragnarok should be in there.

I somehow managed to pull 2 apothiosis(in one ten pull), and an awaken one, whilst getting two off banner heroes, one of them I needed to unlock Awaken one's bonds. I have the Ice princess, with the extra trinity crystals I got the heart of desire thing, but who should I use it on?
The rates make no sense in this game. Very broad descriptions with several off banner in a row. People will spend money on better things
These limited anniversary unit banners literally have double the off-banner rate as the normal weekly & monthly ones, so yeah they feel like trash.
