So after my bad collab banner run, I was lucky on the next banner I got Mariandel in one draw (when my last draw was an SSR in the collab banner), so I expected to have bad luck with werner (guess the bad luck was delaying his banner), well so I tried my luck this week and on my first draw I got Azusa which makes it 3 SSR in 3 pulls in row, I did 3 more pulls and I got Oboro, so I kinda feel good that the game wasn't mean for me. (hopefully it doesnt get me ready to suffer in the YYH collab) Thanks kong for your videos.

What I really need is that Auto/Maiya/Noemi banner for a guaranteed Maiya for a surprising number of bonds. If the banners in between this upcoming and the next set of new heroes is this, then I can very safely try and go for them (I got all, but Rainforce; and even though he's in a destiny banner I may still skip it despite collection purposes). I've seen both Azusa and Oboro in both season 10 and 11 in Chinese in plenty of boxes, and I've seen how pretty good they both are in action...of course I'm not a serious Apex player, so it will knock down for the necessity and wanting to grind for their shards, but I would still like to have them, if possible... I'm definitely looking forward to the next set of heroes, as you did both mention and show her up in the video.
I've actually seen some PvP videos with Azusa - and she's a beast. That attack type conversion usually means that a hero will deal virtually no dmg to her (which is waaaay better than simple revive effect, because revive usually leaves you with a tiny amount of hp, but her thing leaves her with full hp or just barely scratched). And it's rechargeable. It's such a shame that she isn't a princess.... because right now I'm building my "waifu" army with Christiane in front that has that really convenient faction buff.
@@naejin Hybrid heroes are definitely her main counter. Not exactly an expert on specific ones though. Anything that uses AoE is also good against her since attack type conversion happens only when she's actively attacked in battle. She's a pain in the butt for those "full assassin" boxes, which is great.

The YYH rerun is two banners: Yusuke + Kurama, and Hiei + Toguro Bros. The Echo of Light skins ($300) include Yusuke and Kurama, and Hiei's skin is available in the normal shop for skin vouchers (no alternate skin for Toguro).
Question: Does Oboro stays transformed until the end of battle or he has a timer? Also, I REALLY liked the aesthetics of both characters, so I guess I'm going to burn some summons on them...
He stays transformed till the end of the battle, or till an enemy transforms him into dead. That's one of the reasons he's seeing good use in Ancient Beckoning-once he gets over that initial transformation hump, you get 95 turns of pure DPS out of him.
@@Kongrisser Yeah that sounds pretty awesome . . . makes me tempted to pull on this banner. But I need to save up for Hiei to complete my YuYu collection. Though at this point it looks like getting all the Collabs is impossible. I have doubts we'll see Lodoss rerun yet again and I somehow managed to miss Ashram both times. So my account will never be complete :(. No it isn't that bad, I have always been willing to take a pass on the Collabs where I am not in absolute love with the source material. But it will be like an itch that I just can't scratch.
@@GrimoireOfTheSage I was willing to pass on collabs for a long time because they're not Langrisser characters and they often don't fit in with the theme of the game (although the Lodoss characters fit in really well). Never say never, though! If this game lives longer than they expected it to, they may want to continue to cycle content. Once they get through the next couple of upcoming collabs (YYH and then Gintama), it'll be interesting to see if we get another new one or another rerun (should be Cold Steel this time).
Kaguya! Kagura is a different character (also not to be confused with Kayura) 😅 - anyway, Kaguya is headlining the Major Update after this Oboro & Azusa one (so 5 weeks from now).

Im at a yrar barley spend and hqve lile 65 or 66 ssr not counting free ones like Grenier and most colabs thqt have been out since then think I am missing 2. Pretty nice how the games pittu workd. My last pitty though on this banner ouch got a dupe betty but luckily one more 10pull and got Azusa
He shells out damage, but people overestimate his bulk. You can just kill him with a lot of stuff. So there are definitely countermeasures. The problem is that the good ones who end up staying in people's boxes will be played by players who build bulky tanky teams who are able to keep him alive.
I'm going to save and roll and see how well i do if we get the yu yu hakusho. If I have a good summoning with the collab i would love to roll for oboro.
Can you please explain why people are so hyped about yu yu hakusho rerun? Are those heroes (characters) actually that good? Or is it just because they are limited?
@@Shining_Light Mainly because they are ridiculously limited. Wettham will back in another six months but yuyu will not back in 3 years if backs. Im still waiting for poor old Estelle and not mind if Renne is trash Also, Yusuke has time faction buff. Yoshua is still very far of our reach and one gets tired of buffing with Angelica
@@Shining_Light Mainly that they're limited, but also in kind of a shaky collab in terms of ever coming back (the initial crossover they were in was delayed and there were rumours of a falling out between Zlong and the IP holder). But every now and then one of the YYH characters gets another look for potential interesting use-for example right now, Hiei is seeing a minor resurgence alongside Ironblood Commander.

Does this make hybrid heroes that build both ATK & INT more useful against Azusa? Which heroes qualify for this ability role? Rainforce?

@@naejin Clotaire uses both Atk and Int, so he'd be a possible counter. Also has some aoe attacks I believe

Azusa's magic attack equals to her physical attack, so I don't have to add any magic attack power, at least.

Oboro looks enormous broken... Even more than Iron chancellor... Annoying. Another OP without counter measures.
