- With the Scottish Premiership's season start growing ever closer, preparations have been stepping up in ML1.
The team played two matches across the week, with a trip to Rangers on Wednesday being followed by a home friendly against near-neighbours Hamilton Academical.
Tony Watt is a player who many in Scottish football think they know. In truth, there's a lot more to the striker who is a key member of the Motherwell squad.
He talks about settling down, his playing style and his determination to impress those who have put their faith in him. And he also reveals his connection with the club goes a lot further back than expected.
Harry Robinson has also been pushing into the first-team picture over the summer. The former Oldham Athletic forward is so far known for one key thing - he is the son of manager Stephen Robinson. We took him out for a stroll to get to know more about him and his hopes for his time at the club.

Hes started well this seaosn he has had a bad injury he is a good player who played 38 times for saints so dont know where you got your info from they offered him a another deal 🤣🤣 he chose to leave , hes better than the rejects thats left rangers over past 5 years and tried to crack it down south and now playing lower league scotland or no where he would do a job for your lot he better than itten or roofe on his day lol
When you posted this comment I would’ve said you were mad but you are 100% correct. He has scored goals but Kevin Van Veen in that position will score more goals. Tony Watt is a journeyman with an overinflated ego
