Teal isn’t bad, that’s what mine is and of course the iconic ghost flames in silver to had more horsepower…
Candy red/chrome
Oxblood red and desert sand tan with a little black... all flat.
My vote:
Build it as a throwback version of the new Low Rider ST. Teal and black and all that (maybe even a little more teal), do a FXRT fairing, etc. Kind of a retro counterpart to the giveaway bike...
Interesting color scheme I like the minimalist approach to the second color.

Have an 05 WG in arctic white I think, with lots of chrome. Beautiful bike, surprised how good it looks. Some green or gold trim would really set it off.

Love this , have a 2008 Fat Bob and it was one of the only bikes I could sit on comfortably and ride , so will be watching to see what you guys do . I have just a set of Screaming Eagle slip ons for performance mods so far and might just do a air filter and tune next because I like what i have so far .
Dark gray and cyan. Think 2022 MT-07 Cyan Storm color combo or dark gray and McLaren orange.
Bought my Dyna as a project bike. I'm torn between keeping the 21/80 combo up front, I like the aesthetic, or going with a 100 or 110 on 18 or 19 wheels to get more contact patch.
would love to see what you do for performance because I've got a 103 and it'd be nice to know what's possible

I mean there is 40 million videos on UA-cam that people do for performance. And whats possible. It isn't just one single guy with a small motor twin cam doing mods lol

Also do you wanna spend 2k or 5k? And always do your suspension and brakes before chasing more power.
Seafoam has a special place in my heart as well because the interior of our AAV's in the Marines were painted that color. Do it!

I would like to see a performance build that you can tour with then take it to a road racetrack. Fxrt fairing, defender bags and a fxrt tour pack. No white walls though.

Love you're doing stuff on older bikes, the bikes we can all afford! PS, go with anything but the club style. Thats been done to death.
I would go with the black and Seafoam or something along those lines. I think the classic look is great for a Low Rider. My Vulcan is a white and Phantom blue which looks seafoam-ish. Gives it that classic look you mentioned.
either way, I'm curious the direction you go with this bike and all of your bikes.
I like the old school tough guy over club style, lots of chrome tall apes and nice pipes.
Finally, been away from your channel for a while but I’ve been waiting for you guys to do a twin cam Dyna. Always more fun to watch when the content is relatable.

Hell yes twin cam content 🤘 sux to know my 2011 dyna street bob is basically worthless (trade in) even if it does have the 110 tire shredder kit which you should definitely put on this build 😏

Whatever you do, please no T-bars, they are awful. Moto bars are way better.
Hopefully you will at least do a stage III with it. That’s my only two cents.
I have 04 lowrider but i went oldskool style. Lowered with tall sissybar old style emblems, tc bros apes but only 8 inch puts same hieght as tbar set up they are a straight across style bar with no pullback, doing yours vintage but modern drivetrain would look good more chopper bobber style, the clublooks getting old and not very unigue anymore.
I'm sorry ,but Seafoam green sounds fine in a bathroom. On a Harley? None for me please.

Actually most those guys say a 88 is much easy to wheelie. High hp just makes it twitchy

That's not even remotely a o.g lowrider. First lowride was in the 80's. First dyna lowrider was early 90's
Oh and no sea foam grandma.

I wish the "club style" builds would go away! They are soo ugly and it's definitely not a style that you see in an MC. "Dyna bro" look is terrible 😆
Club style wasnt ment to be a look. It's a result of making the bike perform the best. You ever do 120 on a harley with no fairing? It sucks! Even a small cafe faring makes a huge difference. Lowered bikes handling like shit as well. Hence the taller suspension on club style bikes. You want a bike that handles like a lazy boy.. a bike you can't even keep up with a locals driving a curvy road in pickup.. without dragging your pipe and peggs. ..then don't do club style.
Softail classic is hideous but serves a purpose... same deal

For the love of Sonny Barger don’t put white walls on there. I can’t think of a worse way to ruin it that white walls, except for perhaps “sea foam green”. Do it black and bronze just like the LRST. You know, the most popular bike ever produced by the MoCo.
If ever you're gonna go for a full vintage look, teal and cream paint would look nice and brown leather for the grips and seats
What are doing for motor performance since it is a 2008. Sea Foam Green sounds bad ass.

Hey Block, i watched the High end Road Glide build video and Chris (sickwideglide) was sportin the "motorcycle things" tshirt, i ordered one and got it today, fits perfect and high quality. just to let you know, i will be rockin this tshirt and representing "BlockHeadMoto" while at Sturgis this year.
I know I'm in the minority, but I absolutely hate club style bikes, but you do what gets you the most money out of the bike.

you guys finally made me cry, I had this exact model, it was my favorite bike, got it in November, had to sell her end of march to help with my dad's funeral expenses. I had been in an accident in October , so I didn't really get to ride her much because of recovery time, but thank you for this video, really loved seeing this bike, you rock Block!!!

I'd like to see a badass twin cam bobber with all good shit. Legends suspension big bore kit dual disc front brakes solo Springer seat apes stripped down to only have a headlight and taillight with integrated signals. You get the idea.
So me what a high compression 103 with a 543 reaper cam or 574 race reaper! 10.5 compression

Couple of questions.
1. I have a 103 in my '17 street bob, what is the next best cam to put in it?
2. I have an aftermarket SE air filter and that little plug that you unplugged when you took off the stock one, is it okay to just dangle there covered up?
I did the fuel tank cross over line removal once, I know my bike has a 5.5 or so tank ,but I swear , there was Like 10 gallons or more ended up on the shop floor, how that happened, I have no idea!

Yes, you can use an aftermarket tune on a stock bike. Quieter than stock? Possibly, might be better looking into electric 😅

Dominator (or similar) fairing w/ Baja style lights. Highway crash bar/foot peg set-up (Bung King or similar), Pelican Case Saddlebags w/ crash bars (Dominator). Kraus/Thrashin riser/bar set-up. 2-into-1 exhaust (brushed stainless). Paint…Gunship Grey w/ Sea Foam accents.

I know since your selling it then it makes sense to do something popular like club style with t bars (probably wind up with a saddlemen step up seat 😒). But damn that shit is so played out and overdone. Do some mini apes or if you wanna lean harder into the vintage vibe throw on some beach bars! No one does those anymore and I personally think they are cool
Recently bought an 04 Low Rider, carbed, w/12K miles on it and SE slip-ons. Question is, how do I know if I have a Stage 1 set-up w/o disassembling the carb to determine the jet size? Do I first need to dyno it to determine baseline and go from there?

Everything sounds cool except the whitewalls. That is just not the style of bike for those, they belong on something like a Heritage, Road King, Deluxe, etc. Not really a LR, imo
