The ONLY Nagoya Style Chicken Wings (名古屋の手羽先唐揚) Recipe You Need

  • 【Ingredients】
    8 pcs chicken wings
    All-purpose flour (enough to lightly coat the wings)
    [ Seasoning A ]
    2 tbsp soy sauce
    2 tbsp mirin
    1.5 tbsp sake
    1.5 tbsp sugar
    1 garlic clove, grated
    [ Seasoning B ]
    2 tbsp roasted white sesame seeds
    1 pinch of pepper
    【Steps】
    1.Make 1 slit on the chicken wings in between the bones.
    2.Add [ Seasoning A ] to a small saucepan. Mix well and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat, and mix [ Seasoning B ] in until well blended.
    3.Sieve some flours over the chicken wings to coat the wings well.
    4.Apply 1 tbsp cooking oil evenly to the surface of a clean saucepan. Arrange the coated wings in the saucepan, then turn on the fire to grill the chicken wings over medium-low heat.
    5.Fry the chicken wings until golden brown on both sides. Turn off the heat and transfer the wings into a large bowl. Add in the prepared seasoning and coat the chicken wings well with it. Optionally, add some more ground black pepper to your wings before serving.
