This didn't work for me. I ended up shutting down my PC and taking out my recently purchased SSD (~one month old). I turned it on (without my SSD installed) and I hit F11 to go into the boot menu. I didn't change anything, so I simply exited the boot menu, and it just went back to the Automatic Repair screen, so I shut it down again. Still frustrated, I installed the SSD and booted it up. To my surprise Windows went through more updates and Windows magically started working again. I've got all my files, and everything seems to be working properly. I'm not sure why this worked but good luck to you!

@@jxyvz press the time on the comment. Volume 0 is letter is Z and type is DVD-ROM, meaning it is the DVD drive and selected that drive by commanding sel 0 in diskpart. After that, he assing that D drive to Z by command assign letter z then he again assign his z letter as X He doesn't know even what he is doing. He just copied the command from some random sites. The correct one is you need to find the EFI Partition drive. Which is by default arounMB100MB and hidden and always stays in FAT32 format just like Pendrivedrive but it's hidden. In his case would be Volume 3. then you can select that drive by entering the command: sel 3 then assign the drive any available drive letter you want for example x. Then basically it will remove the corrupted boot files and replace them with new ones. Now if your BIoS mode is UEFI then run: bcdboot c:\Windows /s x: /f EFI if your BIOS is Legacy then run: bcdboot c:\Windows /s x: /f BIOS if you don't know which BIOS you have then run: bcdboot c:\windows /s x: /f ALL it will copy both files on your boot drive or system partition drive.

What i did is that i clicked advanced options then advanced options again then command prompt i wrote this "sfc /scannow" and ran this prompt then returned back till found turn off pc option then when i ran the pc it worked fine
After I entered bootrec /rebuildbcd it found windows installation and offered me to add installation to boot list i entered Y but then it comes up with cannot create a file that already exists. Is it a problem?

If you have not set password then keep it blank and enter
