Since windows 3.1 there's far too many files that are dependant etc enterprise type OS so it's best to wipe and clean install and this time partition the main drive and also back up the system once you have all the programs installed < purchase a USB stick 3.0 to copy backup to and forever be OK or forget all of that and just make a virtual machine all within a vhd file..

@@LylaD05 use recovery, put in another flash drive with lots of space, instead of loading up a backup file etc, use the file explorer to copy over files, note: in future don't save files to the user, save to another partition other than the main windows partition C drive usually so it's easier to copy files from, in repair mode user files maybe locked and permission's may not be available. I cannot believe it's mmxix and people still saving important files on computers they know may crash and fail.. external storage is cheap now.. I have a microsoft surface a real one not a laptop 😂 there's no obvious way to remove the hddrive so I have to know how to format and reset windows, clean install, I always save created files to my sd card.. Many people are worried about losing files they didn't create but downloaded, It's a silly thing to care about losing and in the first place that type of stuff should be downloaded straight to memory card and not to the C drive..

Guys dont listen to that shit video. I just fixed my pc by using dvd boot media of windows 10. I only used one method > chkdsk /f/r C: if not C: try D:. Hope it help.
This didn't work for me. So what I did, I had a backup drive for my older brother's laptop. I swap the old one to the ssd version. Windows crash on the ssd and I swap it with the old drive. It works fine "for now."
Ghost, dude, i suggest u swap ur hdd with an ssd. (If u don't have one already) and if u do, make sure ur windows is installed on ur ssd if u have more drivers. And if everything is done correctly, I'd feel like i have been ripped off.

But toward the end, at around your 5:15 point in the instructions, I didn't receive your list, but received several "Not Enough Space" in a list. "Not enough space" is pretty much what got me into this problem to begin with. I had been operating my computer without cleaning it up and now the Automatic Repair continues to appear regardless of what I do for it. I have obtained another computer in case you have a tutorial or instructions for me on using one computer to reconfigure another computer. If you don't know the letter assigned to the drive your OS is in you can simply type "Diskpart" once Diskpart is running type "List volume" it will show all the letters assigned to the current drive volumes. This is really useful If you have a USB drive plugged in and are working on the command prompt but don't know what letter the USB drive was assigned. To list all drives including USB, inside Diskpart type "Listdisk" you must type "Exit" to get out of diskpart.
While trying your solution I decided to apologize to my PC because I was away for around 10 days. I asked her to forgive me "I,m sorry" "I love you". And believe me it really worked!! My pc got back to normal..
For the people who didn't find a solution do this: go to command prompt and type chkdsk /f/r C: , then after the process exit from command prompt and restart your computer

How I did it was 1. Go onto advanced settings 2. Troubleshoot 3. Startup settings 4. F4 or safe mode 5. Microsoft home button in the bottom left 6. Restart Ps this is how I did it might not work for you but it is here to help some

This didn't help. But here's what I did that got me back in: Go into safe mode from the advanced settings, when you're in just restart your computer and it returns you to normal mode

You're life saviour, because i was in a similar predicament. But what makes my situation more challenging is that my laptop has a black screen that is only partially visible at the edge or top of the monitor. To view the content on desktop screen, I always use an extra monitor to extend the display. I immediately recognized the problem as being on your video after making up the letters at the edge of my laptop screen. (I wasn't able to use external monitor during this process) In order to navigate, I use the knowledge I have using the keyboard to navigate by hitting the "tab key" on the key board. I use the 2nd suggestion option from your video, and guess it correctly on the keyboard, and the issue is now resolved. I wish the comment section has the image option to upload images, to show you my laptop is now working.

How I did it was
1. Go onto advanced settings
2. Troubleshoot
3. Startup settings
4. F4 or safe mode
5. Microsoft home button in the bottom left
6. Restart

Thanks a lot for this video at 1.39 mentions external drive I had an external SD card blocking the advanced options screen as a result it was a blue death screen.
This needs to be the top comment. I completely missed that. Kept having the same issue with blue screen, removed ssd and fixed the issue. LEGEND

Ended up working through Safe Mode, I believe Avast’s Boot Scan and Windows Update clashed during boot.
My computer made me scream as loud as I could and it just sort of started working again.

This didn't help. But here's what I did that got me back in: Go into safe mode from the advanced settings, when you're in just restart your computer and it returns you to normal mode

My computer somehow broke itself after and unnecessary automatic disk check before boot up that I couldn't cancel, and the command prompt fix worked! Really thought I'd finally lose my windows 7 laptop for sure! Again, thank you!

@@CassiThu I dont know what happened to the disk check data, but it was most likely deleted after the fix, since its still asking for a disk check again recently.

This happened twice within a month,
The first just suddenly crashed and was luckily during a weekend,
The 2nd was just chaos, apps wouldnt open, social media sites would crash, and finally the internet tab wouldnt open, making it unable to connect to the internet...and came back to the loop..unfortunately, it happened during exams
After all these fixes you've shown, my laptop now wants to diagnose itself and goes into automatic repair.

Just want to say thanks. After the big crazy power failures in Texas my computer was locked in the automatic repair loop. Your tips helped me I had to go through several tries but got it done.
I installed a drive in my DELL PC for my new BROTHER printer as it was not functioning, followed by blue screen. I really liked your presintation, I want to impliment what you have taught me but hesitent, How will this affect all of my files? Have a great day.
You're life saviour, because i was in a similar predicament. But what makes my situation more challenging is that my laptop has a black screen that is only partially visible at the edge or top of the monitor. To view the content on desktop screen, I always use an extra monitor to extend the display. I immediately recognized the problem as being on your video after making up the letters at the edge of my laptop screen. (I wasn't able to use external monitor during this process)
In order to navigate, I use the knowledge I have using the keyboard to navigate by hitting the "tab key" on the key board.
I use the 2nd suggestion option from your video, and guess it correctly on the keyboard, and the issue is now resolved.
I wish the comment section has the image option to upload images, to show you my laptop is now working.

My pc always crashes when i download windows iso file then one day the pc ran into a big problem, everytime i shutdown the pc the next time i boot it up it says windows didn’t shut down properly and the pc couldn’t save any changes i made to it anymore.
