That was by far the most satisfying video I’ve ever watched and your tie dye is super attractive!
Nice job. Looks a thousand times better!
Cool video, thanks for all tje great videos
Hooo this is a good video...
Nice job sir
Stupid question, whats a bench rebuild, is that bench seat rebuild?
A Bench Rebuild is when the Transmission is removed and placed on a bench to be completely disassembled and rebuilt with new guts
Super satisfying video! Ballpark figure, how much was your trans rebuild? The one in my '04 4.7 4X4 WJ is toast and the shop I took it to is saying 4 grand. 3 of that is the trans rebuild, 1 is the labor. I only paid 4500 for the Jeep 5 years ago, so that's not looking very economically feasible.
I was out the door at $3,073 for the rebuild, the clutch packs were all burnt up
@@ThordysGarage thanks
So I have the same exact car definitely needs detailing and this will be my 1st time. I have to get seats like all of them brand new. Do you know where I could find em? Pls let me know 😭n great job on this you did ya thing
Well it’s a 2008 grand Cherokee. Like my seats are messed up like the leather is pealing off it’s half way off a seat already and u can see the cushion
I unfortunately don’t know a good place you could get replacement seats, you could get some seat covers at the least tho
Hey man, going through a similar scenario here. My old Jeep finally rotted out so I found one with zero rust… but the interior was shot, so I’m doing a total swap to make one good Cherokee lol. Anyway, I noticed how you said the trans was messed up and you couldn’t fix it yourself… I’m in a similar spot on that too. Slop in the shifter (moving it from position to position) and a moderate leak. What was the deal with yours? And how much did it cost you?
Mine would not shift out of second gear, turned out the clutch packs were worn out, payed $3073 for a complete bench rebuild. Hums away just fine now.
