UPDATE: Eahora has finally offered a full refund if we return both our bikes (this makes no sense so we didnt agree) one of our bikes are already sold to a third party. They Wont accept the return unless we return both bikes. they are obviously just playing games now. the only reason they are offering a refund now is because they see how many views these videos are getting, and its causing other customers who are having similar issues to make videos of their own.
Yeah we will be doing that as a last resort, we wanted to give them one final chance, its to bad its not their employees fault its their management and owner who probably force these employees to cut costs
I used Klarna to pay for it, and I filed a dispute with them. I suggest you do the same. Visa puts a warranty on anything you buy with a Visa card. Or at least they used to when I worked for Bank of America.
I have a new aniioki daul motor A8 and they are sending me a 3rd controller. And a new front shock fork. The bikes been a nightmare. But the customer service has been good
See i understand that, its a new bike bound to be some issues, but eahora customer service is the absolute worst. looks like we should have went with Aniioki doesw your make that exact same sound? eahora thought it was the clutch gear.
Yeah made the same sound but mine was the back motor. The 1st controller worked off and on the 2nd one only went 200 yards and burnt up hopefully they 3rd will work properly.
That sounds like the controller is having issues with knowing where hub motor rotation is at , could be a broken wire or a bad controller,. I've dealt with this type of issue. I would not settle for anything less than a return refund , or a whole replacement bike. Specially if this is under warranty. if thru Amazon you have the a to z guaranty you could use and file a complaint with also all the conversations you've had. If it was here , I would get a cheap tester breakout box, test all the leads from both the controller and the hub motor wires to look for a broken wire first. I charge 60 usd a hr for testing , with usually about a 2hr charge with fixing a broken wire.
Thanks for your feedback! unfortunately eahora is worse then most Chinese ebike companies they just dont give a shit. we gave up as well, we will just be selling the bike to someone who knows how to work on it. another customer, a friend who also bought a bike just emailed eahora asking for extra break pads, they asked him to send a video of the issue, he told them there is no issue he just wants extra break pads...they still wont send it. he even told them he would pay for them and the shipping. They are smoking something else down there in china

I had the exact same issue with mine. They told me to connect the front motor wire to the rear motor and see if the rear motor spins. It didn’t. All I got was an error code. I reconnected the motors and tried the front motor and it seems to work fine now for 50 miles it’s worth a shot. Hope this helps anyone.
$4k? Ouch. No thanks...that's new motorcycle territory. I get more out of fixing/building ebikes than I do riding them anyway. I've probably spent a couple of grand total over the years, the most expensive single item being a $350 motor. Hopefully the gear motors I ordered a few days ago don't have the same issues you're having! (Could be hall sensors/wiring or possibly controllers; I hate working with computerized setups as you're stuck using OE parts to get it working again, rather than cheap generic ones)
I recently ordered a Romeo Pro II so I'm getting nervous about the quality. I have 2 other Eahora bikes, a Romeo Pro and a Cupid and haven't had a problem in 500 miles except 2 flats off-roading.
I’m having problems my bike defective at 40 miles been 3 months now they won’t send shipping labels to send it back I would never buy or recommend EAHORA, lied to credit card company, sent a shipping label for 7 lbs telling amazon they waiting on return to credit me meanwhile I can’t send back with t that label , now they saying give them another chance the parts will be in end of August, I bought bike in may are you kidding me they fraud s worst people out there
Will they not accept the whole bike back for a full refund? I would be asking for a full refund. I was looking one bike on amazon. But amazon just tosses packages around so i dunno if i want to get one. But i feel like anywhere i order my shit going to get tossed around.
probably not, we'll do a rebuild over the winter and fix it up for next summer with new controllers, and motors. the frame and battery are still usable.
I saw a used Nissan car for 1600 on marketplace why would you spend this much on an ebike? a gas motor scooter I'm saving for is 1400 new!! a fly wing marshal 200 ...

File a dispute with your bank, its illegal to charge for a product that does not function at all, at least here in the U.S it is

Try working on the bikes yourself. I do all my own repairs their really not the difficult to work on . and their are lots of videos out their to help.

they have gear drives now available with metal plated gears against the nylon ones to replace the nylon only gears.

Call your bank if your under a year you should be able to get your money back especially if it showed up defective
