Fingerspelling Practice (Level 1) American Sign Language (ASL) (Seth)

- ASL Receptive Fingerspelling Practice.
Intended Audience: Mid-semester, Level 1 (Beginner)
Dr. Bill of ASL University (Lifeprint.com) drills a volunteer student (Seth) on fingerspelling.
--------------------------------------
Note from Dr. Bill: Yes, I know that at times I spell "very fast" to beginner level students. I do that on purpose to help them get past always trying to read "letter by letter." The goal is to learn to recognize the shape and flow of fingerspelled words. I intentionally challenge the students to see how much they are capable of accomplishing.

Hello ASL Heroes!!!
Hey, I could really use your help.
If you’ve enjoyed having access to an expert in ASL you can help me continue my work for you.
A donation from you would instantly make a big difference here at the studio because teachers don’t earn much and I could use some help paying for server and domain hosting for Lifeprint.com.
Right now you can help out a humble (not to mention kind, caring, generous, compassionate, helpful, friendly, fair, and hard-working) ASL teacher -- just go here and a few clicks later you too will be a true “ASL Hero!”

p.s. Want to have your very own USB drive with four semesters worth of ASL instruction (that’s the equivalent of two years of colleges classes) for just $79.95? See "SuperUSB" in the ASLUniversity bookstore at:

Take care and love to you all.

Bill is a great teacher
Wow that was awesome!
Dont like to snitch but a student is saying the words outloud when they figure them out
That is sort of funny / sad yah?
Sometimes students vocalize without realizing it.
