My dad had a '90 Legend L Coupe in melbourne blue. I learned to drive on that car, got my first speeding ticket and accident in it. To this day, it is still one of my all time favorite cars. Smooth and stylish.
Had this same color brought it in 89 with 8000,miles picked it up from dealer when home packed up 1 week of closed & drove from New York to Florida what a beautiful journey it was thanks for reviewing this classic Yess...
I'm officially jealous. That is a wonderful, gorgeous vehicle. The exterior color is my favorite - it is copper tempered with gold and aluminum. The wheels are the Japanese answer to the Mercedes monoblock design. I wish cars looked this good today.❤❤❤❤❤
Wow! Beautiful man! That gold color is awesome. And the windows look so big compared to what they build today. I think the world gets tired of crossovers and suvs. Nice to see a classic coupe like the Acura Legend. Way before the 5 cylinder CL and TL.
@@TysonHugie I'm still waiting on Acura to bring it back, but they now have re-introduce the Integra Type S... Who knows...? Maybe the Legend will be introduced on US soil under the Honda badge. Thanks for posting this L E G E N D A R Y run of cars we had the pleasure of driving for a short time
We had a 92 sedan and I remember clearly picking it up. I was 9 and there was the legend, legend coupe and an nsx in the showroom and my dad could barely get me out of there!
Absolutely gorgeous 1G Legend. And given where it spent a good chunk of its life, it’s still in really good shape. Also, I had no idea about the door pockets - genius idea!!
Beautiful color, I have exact same one in gold color with 62 k miles. Spent its whole life in California. Have almost all service records since new. Thinking of selling it too. But everyone after I drive it, change my mind. :) I will contact you once I decide to sell it. Best 5:28
Beautiful car. Chrome exhaust finishers would complete the OEM look very nicely. Your style of filming remains unique and really interesting. It’s so calming while showing the cars from all different angles. I can relate to keeping a car in mint condition in a big city, its work to keep my car from getting banged up here in Chicago, I can only imagine it’s even more difficult in NYC. Nice video!
To this day I miss my first high school car, a white 4-door 1990 Acura Legend S. I still can't believe it was stolen from the front of my house in 1999 and found stripped a month later.
Always thought this was the most attractively styled Acura outside of the NSX. The second gen looked a bit bloated by comparison. Even after 34 years this still is an elegant shape.
This car would stand out as a winner against many if not all manufacturers flagship cars in late 80's / '90 models. That would be fun to put together 🤷🏻♂️
Have to call upon my G1 experts, pretty sure the one at the driver side air vent is to block/open the air flow. Haven't played around with the center one

I'm hoping whoever buys it when it's for sale will just repaint the bumpers to make it look brand new again. Other than that, it's a beautiful survivor. I never see these in South Florida which is typically another great place to find survivor cars that were well cared for, as long as they were kept in a garage. Otherwise, the Florida sun and humidity just absolutely destroys our cars.

Awesome, thanks for watching
I had the four door version, bought it new in '87. Loved it for the 20 years that I owned it.
They’re great cars!
I loved these cars! I should have bought one when I had the opportunity!
Do you want to buy this one?

It has aged well for sure

WoW!!
Thanks
Such a clean legend coupe 🔥🔥🔥
Little rough around the edges, but it has some potential
I had a 87 Legend Coupe Manual that I miss. I has it sitting on 13×7 LA Wire Wheels and it felt like a cloud rolling down the Highway.
That’s a great combination
oh wow a fkn classic. Legend back in the day was the shit.
Agreed
I hope to take care of the car as well as you do; it looks like it's still brand new.
It's actually a little rough
Great looking car and video. Love the frameless windows too. Would love to learn more about the potential sale.
Sure, send me an email (my info is under my "About" page). I can direct you to some info about the car and give the owner's contact details. Thanks!
Love that car!
Thanks
the intro footage on POV driving looked like it was self driving. lol The 1st gen coupe is my favorite Legend.
Right? They’re great cars.
I could drive that one all day long!

If this G1 Legend was an LS with a 6spd, It would fit in quite nicely with your G2 Legend collection.

ill bet that drives nice. like a big integra. wish you wouldve showed the radio display with the eq
Possibly an idea for a future video
The two muffler outlets almost look like straws. lol
Yeah they're supposed to have chrome tips around them at least
What's the little slider lever underneath the driver side air vent? What about the slider in between the center air vents?

Wish Acura would bring back the Legend name and coupe. I noticed the small grill was slightly crooked.
With that kind of accident history, we shouldn't be surprised
I saw 4 power window controls. Do the rear windows retract also?
They do! This feature is on the later model 1991-95 coupes as well
@@TysonHugie I was not aware these Legend Coupes had that feature. Love it!
You should make commercials!
Haha, working on that career path!

The sun kills stuff here, too. Definitely this car could look pretty good with some touch ups.
Because this is a Japanese assembled Car assembled . I assume those are Recaro LEATHER SEATS👀👌
