    👍🏽 Straight to work...no yapping! I did something similar over my bar. Bought the lights from IKEA. From a handy-girl to a handy-man...safety glasses are our friend.😎

    Nice job! One recommendation though... safety glasses. It's too late when it's too late. 👍

    the way you toss stuff to the side when you’re done using them is so funny to me 😂 it turned out beautiful, great video!

    In the middle of building a homemade one myself. A little different style. yours is awesome. I was amazed at how you hollowed this out to save on weight. That must be a great b lade on that dewalt. You know what??? Everyone is a you tube safety inspector now.

    Beautiful fixture. Can you describe how you did the wiring for the 8 lights into the ceiling please?

    Good job. Make sure to oil the bit when drilling metal, though. Keeps them from dulling rapidly.

    Wear some eye protection with those saws. I had an old beam and in it was a piece of wire. This video reminded me of a cartoon. A tree made into a toothpick.

    can you tell me how you connected all the bulbs together and figured out the wattage to know how many bulbs you can have then how you proceeded to wire it up to the gfi

    • @ThomasWinders
      @ThomasWinders 4 роки тому

      There's no rocket science in there: wires are connected in parallel. You don't even have to worrry about the wattage: they're LED bulbs, low power lightning.

    Nice job! Only question is.. why not have wire punch through ceiling plate near chain attachment point so it doesn’t have to be seen running across ceiling plate?( that would drive me crazy!)

      You would just need to pigtail the wires together to your main electrical feed. Any standard electrician should be able to help you out.
