Yes with very unsatisfactory power... Like I said on a previous comment they could have easily used the carrex frame built a utility type body like expedition would beef here arts A arms and it would have been a winner so close but so far away.. and I'm just a dumb dumb that knows nothing but seem to know more than their $250,000 + R&d engineers! LMFAO!
I agree, I find it interesting that an automobile manufacture can add AC and heat along with full metal body and all the additional accessories, and be under that number.
@@cspoon123 I would imagine mass production and a greater volume of sales help lower the automotive price tag.

4 seater should have been part of the debut and the belt drive is a disappointment.A gear driven paddle shift transmission would have set it apart!

Yeah yeah yeah, i get that, my point is Kawasaki is just now bringing something that we all have already seen for the last 10yrs. Why not bring something different?? Put the sealed cab , power windows, heat, air, big fancy gauges, windshield wiper in the krx with the inline 4 turbo! Be different! Do something new! Make a splash in the sxs market. I just find the ridge boring.

I am a big kawi fan however, I'm very disappointed in this hyped release. This is basically a Ranger with a four-cylinder engine that produces only two more horsepower than the two cylinder ProStar engine? Look at the front a arms they are twigs not even high arched. The tires are from 2015 in size little pizza cutters. Sorry, but this isn't revolutionary in any way shape or form and I think it will flop in sales unfortunately....It has nothing over any of the competition.... Now if team Kawasaki put their heads on right they would have made something equivalent to the Polaris expedition utilizing the KRX frame with the four cylinder engine, including the interior amenities that the expedition is known for. And of course top it off with KRX legendary strong A arm components and add unitized hub bearings, (this is a positive trend) you would have a serious contender in the market..... Sorry but I grade this new machine to the market a solid c+....
I so agree this is another over price lightweight expensive toys that does not beat or come near what should be offered for these crazy prices.
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE your content, channel and presentation, so please take this as constructive criticism as a fellow content creator…the jump cuts and constant back and forth motion during the walk around quite literally was making me dizzy, just something to consider for future videos. I’m guessing given the nature of the event you had limited time to do this so I completely understand, again just something to consider. Keep up the awesome content and thank you for this video!

I think you need to go look at prices again! You compared this to the Ranger XP 1000 Northstar and claimed its a bargain at $23,999. If we are comparing apples to apples with a Northstar, you need to look at the Ridge HVAC, which is $29,999. The Northstar is $27,899! If you go Northstar Ultimate you jump to $32,199, the Ridge Limited is $33,499. Nothing "bargain" about this machine!
Well when a dozen eggs and a carton of milk are dam near doubled from several years ago, a bargain on any commodity is what the public is willing to pay for it.
Not sure why he is saying that its so much cheaper to buy the base and add your own cab?… I have a ranger 1000sohc that can haul 1000 pounds in the bed and tow 2500, and the base model with power steering is around $14k… to add a full cab with all glass including a heater would be around $5500 additional dollars if you go with an aftermarket heater kit such as inferno. Thats $19,500…. Want more horsepower? A tune putting it at 78hp is another 400. All together your coming in with the same capability for 20k, he was saying 30k is a basement bargain?… not in my book.
When can the folks who would by one get to drive one and kick the tires? Right now I have a 22 Genny4 XP all accessorized up. But there are some things I do not like, engine noise, dust intrusion, If it's a sealed cab and quieter, you have my attention and I would trade if it drives well.

You don’t need to see it. Trust me, Kawi is superior to Polaris. 36 month bumper to bumper warranty and you’ll have a much better built machine man.

Top speed appears to be a disappointment, and really, only 116 hp?!!! I would have been happy with even 130, 150ish would be very cool. Why do the Japanese have to be so damn conservative on horsepower when it comes to side by sides and ATVs and near 200 plus horsepower on a 500 to 800 lbs road bike?
the guy that did the hype videos needs a raise. the guy that made the decision to declare offroading would never be the same in those hype videos should be fired. this thing is so boring im angry about it.

I just want a Utility side by side that you can put 35’s on without changing the a arms. I do like the engine it would be really nice in the mule pro 1000 and the krx.

Just stop! It is a rec/ute rig, NOT a sport/rec rig (I don't care what Kawasaki tries to classify it as). Put this Ranger wannabe on your RTI ramp and the 12.7" front/ 10.1" rear wheel travel tells you it has NO business being referred to as 'Sport'. To refresh your memory, the RMAX ranks HIGH on your RTI ramp score with its 14.2" and 16.9" front/rear suspension travel. What SxS has LESS rear wheel tavel than front in the Sport or even Sport/Rec category?!?!

Wow, you can go fast on flat terrain on a go cart. You can buy a golf cart and upgrade the shocks and have the same thing. Really dropped the ball, the hype video’s were great from Kawasaki.

Disappointing to say the least.... all the hype I was expecting something that wasn't designed with the 80s vibe all over it (engine is the only good thing but in the wrong chassis)

The inline 4 is all that I see for the Kawasaki line up that is new. Was hoping for a KRX upgrade or perhaps an offering for the option of an expedition

Honda and yamaha give you the option for turbo install after purchase, i m not kawi dont know how they work in that matter
How much do they pay you to say this crap? The Sludge is a major disappointment and the fact you said single handle dump made me want to take one on these overpriced POS with 90-115 hp for 30-40k. Yes real price is 30k-40k not 23k like you show.
3 year warranty is pretty cool.... thats about it
