Great video! The sale's man that you worked with pointed out aspects i was needing to know about. I'm now leaning towards the Street Glide over the Road Glide. I hope you make more content with a road glide.
I rode a Street Glide Standard 107 M8 last week in Hawaii. It was incredible. Living in North Dakota it was amazing to be back on a bike. I thought the Street Glide was much lighter than my Road King but it turns out it was only 25 lbs difference. The NAV system was invaluable.
Street Glide Special is a great bike. I couldn't believe the weight, I didn't ride it. I can only imagine while riding you wouldn't feel the weight, and I'm 5'11, plus I am a new rider.
it indeed is :) get a little experience in first for sure, but otherwise the street glide special is handling so good and easily ☺️ you can barely tell the weight, unless you try to push it backwards 😂
regretting that we added a softail to our sportster? no, not at all. did we think about trading our iron in also so quick after buying the slim and having now a heritage classic also? nope, never 😂 are we starting to think about keeping the heritage and upgrading the slim to a bagger? maybe 😅 we are not regretting buying the slim though at all 🥰
I bought a 2021 Street Glide Special. I am 5'2". The biggest complaint I have is the clutch. I hate the clutch on it. My 2003 Harley Low Rider clutch was much better. I ended up with a blister on my thumb from the clutch lever being so tight. Other than it is one hell of a bike. You can add an after market reverse. Harley has it for the trip glide models. They need it on the baggers as well.
I think you can loosen the clutch a little, no? but an aftermarket reverse?!?!?! I didn’t know you can do that! I will have to look into that right now!!!
Late to the party but curious to either of you if you used the stock seat or if there were any modifications? I’m nearly 5’5” with a baby inseam lol and riding the slim currently.. want to possibly switch to the SGS but not sure of the seat height will be an issue. Ride safe!
Hey if i may ask of what month was this footage taken " as i see it was posted Oct 30 but was this filmed earlier in the year? as i know we here in Ont didnt that nice a day on Oct 30 man it was miserable. oh and great video .
You are right 😁😅 It was filmed at the end of September 🙈 just didn’t manage to get it up any sooner 😂 but to be fair, in the Okanagan we have pretty amazing weather until the end of October really 🥰 lived in Ontario for quite a while also, where are you from? Thank you for your kind words! 🥰
@@CorinnaHaimerl A ha! i thought it might be somewhere in BC that you might be as it does show the word Kelowna, and i was pretty sure that in BC .Oh and im ruffly about a 2, s2 and a half hr drive North from Toronto but South of Owen Sound
I am in the beautiful Okanagan, British Columbia 🥰 there you go! point proven 🤩 with skill and training, size doesn’t matter 😁 how long are you riding for?
@@CorinnaHaimerl I have been riding for 5 years. Got a Honda 750 to start the. A fat boy lo and the streetglide last year. Only issue is the weight in some parking lots lol that’s why I ride with my hubby haa
I'm a 5'2" female and I bought the street glide special because it's easier to maneuver than the road glide. Plus, it's a sexier look with the batwing. Ride safe!
The street glide special is an amazing bike!!
absolutely agreed! 🤩

Thank you so much! glad that it helped 🥰 I have a couple other Road Glide videos on my channel also already and am in the process of buying one 😁

so jealous!!! that sounds incredible 🤩 how long were you on the island for?
Great video but I think those are 12inch bars the stock bars are much lower. Love the scenery, I haven’t been to Canada yet.
Thank you 🥰 you might be right 😅
Canada is definitely worth checking out 🤩
I love my street glide 2021
nice ride thinking a street glide special or a heritage soft tail great video
thank you 🤩🤩 both are awesome bikes 🥰
I love my blacked out gauntlet grey street glide special. But I prefer a 7” dark touring freedom shield for windshield on mine.
that sounds awesome! And I think I have to agree with you, this one was just too tall for me 🥰

What an amazing motorcycle!
agreed 🤩 I loved it!!!
Very cool! What manufacturer's shield is it? And what inch windshield is it?
The manufacturer is Klock Werks and I am not 100% sure about the height anymore! might have been the 14” one 😬
@@CorinnaHaimerl Thank you! I will refer to it!😉
Wow! My friend It's such a moving and healing motorcycle driving video.💚💞💜
