Girl I just gotta tell you, I added the Tom ford stick foundation to my cart on a whim after you raved about it and I am OBSESSED. I have tried hundreds of foundations and this one is my new holy grail. Wow!!! Thanks so much for all of your recommendations 🥰 you got me to try the blur jam and caliray setting spray and both are amazing
I purchased the MAC Hyper Real mini set because of you lol and I like the serumizer more than the balm for sure. I feel like the balm has pilled on me too with my normal skincare before makeup but the serumizer is amazing
Great list of primers! Thanks. I love the Hourglass Vanish and use it daily in my T-zone. My favorite pore-filling primer ever was the (now discontinued) Beauty Blender “The Leveler.” I wish they would bring it back. (In better packaging; the old packaging was terrible.) FYI - I tried the Magic Water Cream and LOVE it, but it is SO expensive. Gemma from the Pampered Wolf channel mentioned that the (Korean) Beauty of Joseon “Dynasty Cream” is a near-perfect dupe for it, so I decided to try it. I am always very skeptical about alleged dupes, but I’ve got to say that the Dynasty Cream really IS a dupe! It looks and feels incredibly similar to the Magic Water Cream, and has many of the same (or similar) ingredients. It feels just a tiny bit different on application (a bit tackier), but two minutes later, I can’t tell the difference in how my skin looks and feels. And it’s only $19.99, as opposed to $100!
Happy Sunday Cheryl! I completely agree with you about the new Charlotte Tilbury water cream, I’m dry/sensitive and prefer this one to the original, which honestly shocked me. Also, I’ve been loving the Beauty Blender one too, your #9, there was a sample in my first sale order but of course it sold out. Will be getting the full size when it restocks since it works so well under my Tom Ford and Dior foundations.
Recently tried BB Face Base and extremely annoyed with how much I love it. 😂I have oily skin and was shocked at how good my makeup still looked at the end of the day.
Awesome! Loved your thorough explanations and experience with each one. Thank you so much for sharing!!! My only request Is if maybe you can hold up the product in front of the camera for a few seconds longer so that we can see the label clearly... that would be helpful ( If you are able to)! 🥰 I talk with my hands too so I totally get it 😄 You're awesome, Thank you again for sharing! I can't wait to try some of these products for myself!!💞
Cheryl-I find primers so interesting. I like trying them all! Out of the ones you mentioned, I like the Refy one, Hourglass & Caliray. Some others faves/staples of mine are CT Flawless Filter, Victoria Beckham Cell Rejuvenating primer in golden shade & Laneige Glowy Serum makeup primer!! Love these kinds of videos & since I’m newer to your channel, I’m so glad I caught one of your’s 😊❤
Love BB face base I also feel like it smooths pores somehow. The Refy primer definitely is intriguing to me I almost bought it during the sale. I am a primer girl I love primers and love trying them I have a dryer skin type. * I am loving the Chantecaille rose tint as a glowy primer right now it's so beautiful but it's pricey.
I have been using the silicone type of Huda primer (black tube) for about 2 weeks. I bought it after returning a couple of them. It makes your skin look oily but it definitely conceals fine lines under my eyes. I have no choice but to wear powder with Huda Primer. And I don't want to wear powder because when I do, the primer doesn't work because the powder accentuates the lines. I also can't find the right concealer that doesn't lay on my Estee Double Wear like paint. I even tried the Estee concealer but you can't overwork it because it starts to separate and doesn't mix well. 😢 It's HELL trying to find the right products that work together. So far I hate the Charlotte powder as it accentuates lines so I can only use a tiny little spot of it on certain small areas. This stuff is so expensive that I just bring back ANYTHING that I don't love. I'm not sure what other powder to get though. :(
I am trying the Thank me later primer. Very smoothing. It's a recommendation from Risa does Makeup and she is a primer queen. Also like the Hourglass alot
This is so so helpful! We have similar taste it seems so I trust your opinion :)! Question for you - I also like to prime with different products in target areas or double prime because I want to fill in pores and fine lines but my skin uses any excuse to dry out and flake my products. Do you have any hydrating primer+pore filling primer combos you recommend? I currently use milk hydragrip and rare pore diffusing primer and it’s not really doing the trick. I tried the hourglass vanish over the hydragrip on my t-zone and immediately it was PERFECT and filled everything in but then dried me out really bad. Based on what you said I think I’ll try the Bobbi Brown but any tips?
Charlotte T broke me out every time I used it. I tried so hard to blame it on everything else lol I dont even have acne. Krazy how different all our faces are.
Im very curious about the Perricone Instant Blur. I like the CaliRay primer and Huda's IF I remember to use a primer. 2 days til Iron Flame!!! 🔥 Can hardly wait!!
Awesome video! Have you seen the new primer product form IL Makiage: Power Redo Wrinkle Fix New! POWER REDO WRINKLE FIX Anti-Aging Blur & Smooth Wrinkle Filler Coffee Seed + Vitamin C + Rosehip Oil Wonder how this will compare with the Mac one ?
I don't use primers, Im one of those who doesn't believe in them. I used to use the NARS and Laura Mercier blurring ones but I just use my skincare and sunscreen now. Using a primer would be too much products on my skin.I do want to try the Glow Recipe BHA one though, because I like the brand and it seems like a skincare hybrid
Happy Sunday! ❤

Yay! I’m so happy you took the chance on it!!! I’ve tried 100s too and it’s just THAT good!
SUCH good timing! I’m getting married in December and am looking for what primer I will wear 😊

Trying the Hourglass!! I need the smoothing over old acne scars. Thanks for your recommendations!! ❤

I knew your #1 would be Huda beauty!! Such an amazing primer!

I was really hoping to see the Danessa Myricks Universal Balm on your list because it is bombbbb for oily skin. Love your recommendations tho 😊
It’s similar to the Perricone MD but Perricone MD is thinner! I have both and would recommend that one over it 🙌🏼
@@MakeupByCherylahhhh okay understood. Will give the perricone MD a try as well

Appreciate your effort Cheryl ❤
Tried the Glowish on your rec and I LOVE it (BB Skin Tint too haha). WNW has a very similar primer called Impossible primer.
Charlotte T broke me out every time I used it. I tried so hard to blame it on everything else lol I dont even have acne. Krazy how different all our faces are.
I want to try the Huda. Im picking that up. Thanks.

Would the water base or silicone base foundation work with Blur Jam? Thanks for the top 10. 💗
Hi! Can you use face primer for eyes to stop creases on the eyelids and under the eyes? Do you put sunscreen over or under your primer?
Awesome video! Have you seen the new primer product form IL Makiage:
Power Redo Wrinkle Fix New!
POWER REDO WRINKLE FIX
Anti-Aging Blur & Smooth Wrinkle Filler
Coffee Seed + Vitamin C + Rosehip Oil
Wonder how this will compare with the Mac one ?
Loving your videos 😊 xx
Too much oily skin and sweaty skin
Which primer is best for me
Is Frankie rose primer a good one?!
What do you put your little ponytails up in?? Like the normal ones pull out my hair
Why are the time stamps not on some videos? Unless it’s a lot of work making them but they are super handy
UA-cam does it automatically for me. Not sure why it’s not working on some of them.
Great review, thank you!!!
Love your videos!
Does the huda glowish primer pairs well woth silicone based foundations?
I need something really just to make my make up stay on!
Thank you!
Do you put the Mac serumizer on after sunscreen then? I thought it was a serum so during the serum step but not sure now?
You can do either or. I personally use it as a primer! I like how smooth my skin is after it so I like my foundation to go on top
Thank you so much for the great video and responding to me!! Love your videos and advice❤

Caliray is my favorite.
Have you tried the osmosis makeup?!
I’ve only tried the primer/highlighter!
Does anyone find hourglass gives flash back?
Have you tried the danessa myrick blurring balm in universal?
Yes! It’s great but not Top 10. It’s like Perricone MD but Perricone MD is thinner!
Dumb question here. Does skincare go on first and then primer?
I usually do my skincare first and then after my skincare is done I do my makeup (ie my primer)
@@MakeupByCheryl thank you 😊
I purchased the Perricone MD and it smells like body Odor , is that normal?
Mine has zero scent so I would say not normal
gearing up for the sephora sale…do you recommend the bobbi brown cream for oily skin girls?
She doesn’t even need t these companies need to start showing primers on people who actually need it
Selena Gomez Pore Primer is the best
I thought the radiance once was nice. I didn’t care for the smoothing one.
No MILK?
