I am really happy Bennett and Razor are friends. Bennett, the person with horrible luck and Razor, the human raised by wolves who has trouble fitting into the human world. It's truly so adorable wtf
They both accept each other. Bennett does not make fun of his speaking or him not being comfortable with many humans, while Razor does not blame everything on Bennett that goes wrong.

Bennett is also friends with Fischl (or at least according to him they are, but seeing a glimpse of Amy in the meteor event I'll believe their friendship to be mutual). I would love to see them interact.
I just can't get over the idea of how adorably bizarre the extravagant trio would be as an actual team.

Barbara could also be in their friend group but i feel like we only know interactions of her and Bennett in the game so far.

(But who knows) Probably the reason that he hide his own nature its bc he doesn't like his "god" side, even he told jean to not mention his actual name (barbatos) in first archon quest.

My respect for venti went up so much In this last scene.. he's not just some lazy archon. He actually is pretty wise and understanding of how his people. The people of mondstat are and wants to keep them happy. The road for mondstat to get to where it is has been hard but he remembers the trials and the people of the past ,present and the future

Lantern festival was pre made, windblume is actually made much later after mihoyo gain more experience. The existence of lantern festival was leaked before the game comes out
My eyes were watery when the Barbara scene appeared. Such a heartwarming cutscene.
I feel like the cutscene in Windblume is livelier than in Liyue's and I'm all here for it

Don't get me wrong, I like the festive but The opportunity to show Liyue characters was replaced with random npcs you will forget in 5 seconds... I was expecting Xinyan, Chongyun and Keqing to have a bit of a screentime.. but all we got is Xiao and his angst.
lantern rite was so hollow and empty lol like it had such a nice setup and good potential but just ended up being.. nothing.
im glad they listened to our feedback though because this update is so much fun

2. Albedo would rather spend his time on some lonely snowy mountain rather than at the celebrations (another obvious one)
3. Timeus gets extremely stressed when venti wants to read his poem out loud.

The amount of times I’ve shattered from being stubborn with sheer cold 😭😭 and like half the quests in dragonspine is to help find lost or dead travellers in the mountains 💀

Btw can we appreciate how the difference between Liyue and Mondstadt goes futher than just the aesthetic?
In Mondstadt we got crowned as both Honorary knight and Windblume' star and got a warm welcome from all the citizens, while in Liyue everything looked more distant. Seeing how Mihoyo tired to add and represent the difference between Europe and China, where one is more welcoming and open while the other is more strict and does the "Yeah nice gob, now continue" thing. Mihoyo doesn't sleep when it comes to plot lol

We literally get chased down by guards in liyue until we forcefully prove our innocence with the adepti lmao
Ikr - I'm not a Chinese person myself, but I can say with a degree of confidence that Liyue's overall theme and its citizens matched that of the importance of material wealth (lavish buildings, importance of Mora, trade) and family, in contrast to Mondstadt's more carefree attitude and emphasis on freedom. Truly admirable.
The very first interaction we've had with Liyue was them insulting our new home as "godless".

I can forgive Mona and Fischl's absence since they already got their own big event with Scaramouche, and Amber and Klee are probably gonna star in Ludi Harpastum, so it's just Diona that's really missing out. Maybe she'll get a story quest in 1.5?

Bennett finally has a friend and adventure team member, Jean and Lisa are away from the office, Amber and Noelle in the same frame are just too cute. Best of them all, Kaeya, Diluc, and Rosaria in the same room, drinking together. Kaeya and Diluc speaking to each other, actually having a conversation, even if it's about tavern snacks, that feels like true sibling rivalry banter. It's the most wholesome thing ever. Please MiHoYo, more of this!
I love how at the start of the festival we were told "Oh Jean is always out on patrol during windblume so everyone else can enjoy it in peace" and I groaned thinking it was another "xiangling is out on delivery" excuse to not show us our fav operators.
But her and Lisa turned up during the story and the final scene of them returning from their patrol at presumably the conclusion of windblume was SO AWESOME!!!!!

One of the reasons why i prefer Mondstadt over Liyue because it feels so homey and warm. The windblume festival portrayed that feeling so perfectly.
liyue also has too many non interactable npcs and the interactable ones have very unmemorable names. it makes you feel like a constant stranger

i will tell you full chorusing frost parable was NOT an easy task. speaking from a person who never touched a rhythm game before. for those who play rhythm games it might be different. one of the biggest problems for me was when the keys didn't match the beat. celestial destiny and fondest hope on pro perfectly match each key to the beat of the song so you can let the rhythm of the song guide you. early dawn and frost parable have many moments where if you follow the flow of the rhythm you will fail to hit the key in time.

In my opinion Diluc only took the bottle from Kaeya to prevent him of getting too drunk. This scene is heartwarming to me because even if Diluc acts cold around Kaeya, I think he still cares deeply for his little brother and maybe wants to protect Kaeya and himself from getting hurt again because he saw what the loss of Crepus did to them.
But I have many theories concerning Kaeya and Diluc haha XD

Agree.. the lantern rite was kinda a bit lonely for me since we didn't get any interaction with the Liyue character except Xiao.. I don't really mind if there are a lot of helping quest, but I really want to have more interaction with the Liyue characters and thankfully, windblume make it up and gave us more interaction with the Mondstat characters.. it really melt my heart seeing all the interaction (人*´∀｀)｡*ﾟ+
So do we wanna talk about celestia being clearly visible during the dialogue with venti or about bwaap making a perfect run with the lyre?😂
