I don’t why you wasted your time and money going to a place that does not cater to Black hair. I used to work at DryBar and I would never recommend any Black person to get their hair done because they do not have proper tools and styling products for our hair. I understand that Black women give passes to non-Black hairstylists hoping that their silk press will turn out fine; however, they do not blowdry close to the roots and they do not use enough heat when styling the hair. For future references, It’s best to go to a stylist who specializes in silk presses.
Drybar is cheaper because they do not offer a customized service. They literally have to shampoo your hair in 7 minutes. They have to have you complete within an hour. So basically if they are charging $45 an hour why do other people tell you your customized silk press service is too expensive? I hate how women try to belittle the work of skilled textured hair specialist. Drybar is not for kinky coils.Straightening textured hair is a special service and should be priced accordingly.

Yeah the thing is they skip the step where you.sit under the dryer to dry your scalp and roots. I'm nervousness to try this. The styles are temporary

Yes most of the naturals that do go there have looser curls or relaxed. Let me show up there with my lambs wool.😂
