Good lord, you're a genius! I am just an amateur tinter, ive done my own car & some family members cars, but i always struggle with getting the size/cut right. Ive wasted so much time & tint because of it. No video ive ever watched has ever said anything about marking the tint. I guess they're too egoisti- i mean "pro" to use such a frickin' smart method. What i mean to say is, thank you.
Thanks for the video! I like your style and the way you explain things in your other video on the front side window is great. Can this way of tinting be done without using a heat gun?
Yes an no. You can apply the film without shrinking it but you would have to bottom load the film and pull all fingers to the corner while squeegee the solution out. Or you can just use a torch instead of a heat gun, but you will need a different tip for the torch. They sell the tips on Amazon. Also you have to form the film to the window especially the back windshield.
Hi there. Please check out the other videos on our channel and Facebook group "Do it yourself window tinting" Hatchback back window is easier to get to. You need to cut around where the black border is. If you're interested in an in person or virtual class call 818-772-7711 We also sell film and tools Tintwork.com/tint
There's a couple different methods to choose from. But we highly recommend not cutting on the window of the car when you're new because there's a high risk of scratching the window if you push too hard or go at the wrong angle.
Love it.. the way you tint window is simple and straight forward .. no fancy technique .. Can you make another video for the back window...?
Very good instructions on how to tint car windows.
