Here's why it's good. Most people have it and it's got 10 hertz GPS sensor so accurate times. Why it sucks, there's simply nothing there besides lap times. So for a strictly lap timer it's a good option. I use solostorm's circuit storm. It's connected to a obd 2 bluetooth dongle and a newer go pro. 10 hertz GPS sensor as well and separate tablet. Mount the tablet in the car. It's really good for overlaying lines, seeing delta while on track and export lots of data. Plus the video with data helps a massive amount. If you keep doing track days and serious about it then give it a shot.
Great suggestion and thanks for watching. What I'm gonna try next time is to use the Bluetooth feature and use the Draggy as my sensor and connect it with Track Addict. I use their software to put my track videos together so if I can get the Draggy providing the GPS data to their app instead of my phone GPS or the crappy GoPro GPS that will be my go to.
I tried with Track Addict and it said it worked, but pretty sure it was just using my cell phone GPS. Not really sure how to validate which GPS it was pulling from.
Yeah it would be great if you could do a custom track or just use it as a simple lap timer. However it does work really well for going to a regular track.

@@shautohaus won't work. I tried this and dragy even confirmed that their GPS sensor is closed source.

I haven't even bothered installing the new app because of this.
Really obnoxious not to have it. I have an idea of how I can pair it with Track Addict that I'm gonna test out in April.
