Arnie! Thank you! This is sooo good. I recently went on a low-carb diet and needed something for my meat and this salsa verde is pretty low-carb plus tastes amazing. My recipe is 7 tomatillos, 2 serranos, 3 jalapenos, 3 cloves of garlic, half a bunch of cilantro and OG to taste. I am not brave enough to try the only chili pepper version. Top UA-cam channel. Keep the recipes coming brother.

I basically did this and mixed it with a few other things for a verde enchilada sauce. Then made a bunch of chicken and cheese enchiladas with it. Served it for a Bday party and everyone loved it. I highly recommend this as a sauce, marinade or starter.

That looks good. My dad used to make Chile de molcajete but I don't remember how he did it. It wasn't green. It has Chile serrano and sometimes Chile del Monte. I miss my dad.

Tomatillo salsa is something I never experienced because I was a picky eater as a kid. When I started working in a kitchen, I began broadening my horizons and thinking about cooking in a more artistic light.

Quick and perfect! When I have a little more time, I like to roast the garlic and half of the tomatillos and chilis first. Another layer of flavor but only doing half keeps the freshness as well.
