I assume you want to remove the pin on the back of a broach? Just clip it off with a pair of pliers. Then file the rough edges down with a file or Dremel tool.
Hi! Have you tried using something that's not metal? I have fun little plastic toys from the thrift store I'd like to make bolo ties out of and wondering if that'll hold very long. thanks for the tutorial!
Hi Lillian. Yes, if you use a good epoxy plastic toys will work fine and hold on. Make sure the clasp is free of oil, including what's on your skin. Acetone is the best cleaner -- aka Nail polish remover.

Hello. What kind of device do I use when using a scarf instead of a cord?
Very awesome 👌
very cool - THANK YOU!!
what size cord is this an where do you find the clasp that fit nice
For stones/gems do you recommend the dremel step on the back of the stone? Or is that just for plated metals?
Grind BOTH the back of the stone and the metal piece. The epoxy will hold on all those micro-cracks. Good luck with your project, James
How long is your cord?
Nice Ring
