Hi guys ,if you live in the rust belt make sure you have your under carage treated with Waxoyl or youll be looking at rot in a few years-just a recommendation.

It does have ATRAC. there is always something I forget to mention in every video lol. I will speak all about it when I get it off-road for a video one of these days
I purchased the same white limited.
The dealer optioned it with TRD exhaust and skid plate. Also added locking safe.

My dashboard looks the same in my 2011 sr5 premium, however my 4x4 shifter is manual.
Hi Brother have you done any mods to your 40th yet?
So far, I’ve only put on rock rails and painted the calipers. I just purchased a new skid plate with oil drain plug and filter access doors on it which should be here in about three or four weeks. After that, I’m considering a lift.

I cant think of a single special edition (of any model), with oem bronze wheels, that *didn't* become a classic.

@@dexteww just under 45k. I was working for a dealership at the time so I was able to get some serious discounts. Personally I think they are overpriced in regards to tech and features but the reliability and longevity there is not much else out there that will last like the 4Runner

Oh your right! A-trac is the bread and butter of the 4Runner 4x4. I can’t believe I left that out !!

Do they have the front facing camera for the 360 degree surround view?
Unfortunately no. The 40th anniversary edition does not have the 360 surround view. It is the only model for 2023 that does not allow for any add on packages.

I have a 40th anniversary 4 runner. It’s a 2023 TRD off road premium in lunar rock. Has everything the 40th anniversary should have. Best thing is. I paid for what I wanted and not an sr5 with some stripes badges and bronze wheels. But you can’t go wrong with any trim as the engine tranny will last a long time.
Congrats on your new 4Runner! The Trd models are sweet ! It’s hard to find “new” a vehicle that’s had such a long proven track record for reliability.
Nothing special about it. Just some stickers. None of those stickers or stitching mean anything.

No I paid under msrp. I got some discounts because I was working for a Toyota dealership at the time.
you are very lucky, I can't find any dealerships willing to even go below MSRP let alone at MSRP which is still not really a good deal if we are comparing it to pre covid sales I remember 4runners were getting discounted 1500-2500 on average.
@@NCblue95 don’t I know it. It seems that Toyota still has more demand than they do supply with regards to all of their vehicles, except sedans and full-size trucks. When I worked at the dealer, hybrid SUVs and anything with a manual transmission was almost a year long waiting list.

Dash material is not special to the 40th anniversary addition. This is an SR5 Premium with an appearance package and not worth the money. I looked at both and the TRD Off Road was by far a better deal.
From a value standpoint. I agree but man I just had to get them stripes and those rims
Got mine close to $3K less than MSRP and there are 1333 of each color ever made plus it’s got dope bronze wheels and it’s the LAST of this vehicle to be made before the 2024 changes…So it’s dope and wasn’t a bit overpriced. Maybe it will be worth extra in 10 years actually.
@@briandorsey6437 come on man!! That’s what I am banking on! This is the last of a dying breed of old school reliable vehicles that you can wrench on yourself. 🔧 I think these 40th anniversary 4Runners are going to be very sought after in the future.
@@roadto500kmiles the black paint job is gorgeous with little blueish hints in it too…So it’s actually a custom paint job only for this model also!
@@briandorsey6437 agreed, I got to see a black one that was pre sold when I picked up my white one. I haven’t seen a red one yet.
