In this video we will cover everything about fasting and Intermittent fasting. Throughout my 3 day fast I monitor my weight loss, hunger hormones, blood sugar or glucose, and metabolism hormones. These hormones affected by fasting includes Insulin, Leptin, Norepinephrine, Growth Hormone, and Ghrelin. When we look at my hormones we will see why you can control your hunger pangs when fasting. You will see the fasting hormone balance and how it works. You will become familiar with Fasting Growth Hormone hours to when they kick in. Fasting hunger tips will also be given along the way for hunger suppression. So we will test fasting insulin as well. Then finally I will give my recommendation for intermittent fasting.

This was a very useful video. Many thanks for sharing your blood-work results with us. Even though it's an experiment with n=1, your results are congruent with what's reported in the literature, and they help reinforce the usefulness of fasting, and its safety.

I didn't know that intermittent fasting could help asthma, but it makes perfect sense!
    Less inflammation, maybe?
Thanks for this video, & all the charts of different methods/plans for intermittent fasting. That really helps!

On next 3 day fast, I think your bodies glucose response would be much better..
I had very different story.. On my 3 day fast, I measured the glucose from my finger tips, not as fancy as yours, and I saw a sawtooth pattern like this |\|\|\.. Increasing sharply, dropping slowly..
Most of the time sugar level stayed around 100-85, then it dropped to 75, my stomach generated noise, the noise went off in 5-10mins, when I measured after its gone, it was 115. It stayed there for a short time dropping below 100.. This pattern repeated with a period of 2 hours.. Very short time above 100, most of the time 100-85, super short time at 75 etc..
I traced my mood so that I could take the samples at correct times. Syncing with the pattern..
It was like my liver is pushing glucose by waves instead of a constant stream..
By the way, doctors speak like the glucose is the main supply of energy.. I don't think it's like that.. Sugar is very dangerous to freely wander, and it must be reduced to normal levels as soon as possible.. That makes the illusion as if it is primary.. If it were primary, it weren't converted to fat to be stored but would be stored as glycogen.. Yes liver stores some amount as glycogen but its very limited.. The muscles store it but as far as I know muscle does not release the glucose if blood level drops.. It keeps it for anaerobic burst actions.. That's why we need glucose mostly: for short burst movements..

Bone broth fasts are what you should do. That way you won’t die.

Not sure anyone would starve in 3 days.
Just my guess, so you can take it with a grain of salt. 😉
