The woman was a concubine of Judah. She was raped and killed by men in tribe of Benjamin. Her husband didn't kill her. She died at the threshold of the old man's house. Crossing a threshold is a covenant of friendship. Her husband had to respond to this. Brutal, yes. But he made his point. Tribe of Benjamin was almost wiped out for this.

And there are too many revisions of the Bible after the KJV 1611 bibles had to have 33% of a difference to be published and they had to have a copyright. The KJV was the 7th and was an authorized Bible not a copyright. Take for instance the NIV has several verses missing. One example in the NIV Acts 8:36-37, verse 37 is missing.

I want Biblical proof that Lot gave his daughters up to the men in Sodom and Gomorrah!!!! This two cities were the groin of all civilization. IF Lot had done this, he would have been in the same debaturing condition that these cities thrived on. Lots wife was turned to salt when she disobeyed God's word to leave. Lot and his two daughters would have met the same fate for disobeying long before they stepped out of this city. Think about this....where did the word sodomy originally come from? Sodom. Where did gonaria (spelled wrong) ? Gomorrah!!!

Jacob did not steal Esau's birthright. Esau wanted some food and Jacob told him to give him his birthright. Esau could have said No and he could have told his mother, but instead he gave it to Jacob. Also, their mother knew that YAH told her that the older child qould serve the younger child.

Actually his mother was behind it and set the fatherup. Most people do not know that Jacob and Easu were twins (fraternal) and even battled in the womb. Hence the wars going on now. Over there. Jacob was Sarah’s favorite. Jacob was lighter (Israeli) Easu was hairy and darker (Arab) Abraham was old remember when they were born so he couldn’t see very well. Easu was his chosen and knew something wasn’t right because of his skin and told him to come closer. but Sara told him he was mistaken and fooled him into telling Jacob and preparing a meal to give the blessing. She took animal skin and put it on his arms and body. Since he was mostly blind it worked. Easu was furious but it was too late.

@@DadaSophia-rk2kj Very true, and I got you on that. One thing we must continue to discern in retrospect is that Jacob received instructions from his mother to appear as Esau (Genesis 27:6-19). This is also notwithstanding, YHWH knew the Machiavellian, two-faced (hypocritical) character of Esau (Jasher 26:17), seeing that the divine aspect of the primogeniture was more important and had to be represented. This included the ordination of the event being solidified by Abraham who gave the instructions to Rebecca for Jacob to continue his legacy and represent the "chosen" bloodline of Shem because they chose to live upright before The Most High: YHWH (Jubilees 19:15-17).

He didn't kill his wife. The men of the city wanted to sleep with her husband. She was given to the men of the city instead of her husband ( similar story to the men in Sodom and Gomorrah who wanted to sleep with the angels.) The men abused her so bad that she died. This seems terrible however this was punishment for playing a harlots and cheating on her husband (Judges 19:2 And his concubine played the whore against him, and went away from him unto her father's house to Bethlehemjudah, and was there four whole months). Read Judges chapters 19 - 22 to get the full story.

Do the "Chill out spell". Ask it the truth about the entire story. Why the female left the husband. Why he went to get her back. Why the father of the female detained them to stay longer. Why the men of the town wanted to "know" anyone in that home. Why the man chopped his wife up.
I'm thinking that parts of the story may have been altered or omitted over time. Aside from that, I think that egos and passion may be the basic cause of the events that took place. Maybe her father sensed what would happen to his daughter and was trying to change the husband's decision to harm the daughter.
The Chill Out spell is usually used to stop someone from bothering you but you can use it to find out information also.
The Chill Out spell that I like is as follows:
Materials: white vinegar, small piece of paper, pen or pencil, small plastic water bottle, Ziploc sandwich bag, freezer.
Directions: Write the person's name on the paper or the question. Put the paper inside the plastic bag. Cover the paper with vinegar inside the bag. Fold out excess air, seal it closed. Put it inside the plastic bottle. Fill bottle with vinegar. Put top onto plastic bottle. Put into a freezer. Turn off all noise. You can hear the answers to your questions etc.

So his action, was her death sentence. He knew that he could have died if he went outside. If your rationalization justified his actions, then there would be no need for him to send pieces of her body to the 12 tribes, in order to alert them that something egregious had happened to her & him, resulting in a bloody war. Perhaps you only view this as a punishment for the property/concubine that he lost.

@latrina38 At first, I thought that this was the story of Lot, too. But, that story is in Genesis 19. The background is the same in that Lot had guests too. Many young and old men of Sodom and Gomorrah had surrounded Lot's home as well, asking him to send his guests out so that they could " know" them.😡👿

Don't confuse modern Western thinking with historical and non Western times and culture. Concubines are indeed wives but their children do not enjoy the automatic right to succession unless the husband decides that the children can. In ancient Persian times all of the Sultans sons, who were not the "Crown Prince", were killed immediately after the Sultan, their father's death, to avoid any challenge to the Crown Prince's succession to the throne. Throughout history in most cultures, men have been allowed multiple wives so that they can have numerous healthy adult offspring. All wives were property of their husband/master.

The comments and the narration of (Judges 19) shows clearly that so many don’t understand what’s going on…
Understand that the man, who was a Levite, a priest of God, is the one who did the actions that man are calling horrendous… But, lack of understanding is why it’s viewed this way… First ask yourself; why did God allow it to happen…?
Once you’ve pondered on this question for a while; then add in the “curse of the jealous husband” (Numbers 5: 14- 31); and that the woman was an adulteress, (Leviticus 20: 10); then you’d be ready to understand why God allowed it to take place…
