Abraham had obeyed God many times in his walk with Him, but no test could have been more severe than the one in Genesis 22. I am not sure why you state that it was the angel of the lord that spoke to Abraham concerning Sarah having a child. In the Septuagint and the KJV, Genesis 18:13-15 reads, And the Lord said to Abraham Why is it that Sarah has laughed in herself, saying, Shall I then indeed bear? but I am grown old. Shall anything be impossible with the Lord? At this time I will return to thee seasonably, and Sarah shall have a son. But Sarah denied, saying, I did not laugh, for she was afraid. And he said to her, Nay, but thou didst laugh. One of those 3 men was God himself. The rest of Genesis 18 details Abraham trying convince God to not destroy Sodom and Gomorrah is 10 righteous people are found there, after two of the men have left for those 2 cities. In the next chapter it is stated that the 2 men are angels, who were received by Lot.

Are you sure Princess Sarah a believer at the beginning when she was arranged an marriage to ABRAM?
