I keep Zakk in mind these dark days of 2020. Having lost Edward Van Halen and now his good friend and mentor Leslie West, that poor fella is in some soul pain. This year sucks incredibly. These guitar hero's didnt and dont.
West is just the funniest character in music. Seriously. The guy is an absolute hoot. Where ever you are Leslie, thanks for all of it... What a force of nature.

Every time, and I have seen this video dozens of times, the segment of music with Leslie and Zakk @ 10:31raises the hair on my arms and gives me goosebumps. I don't know why but it does. Rest In Peace Leslie. You are missed.

Leslie west was a very Kind and Humble human Man. It's so awesome to see Zack with one of the Greats up on stage. I bet Zacks mind is just blown by all the wonderful and Great Musicians he has got to jam with .when Zack come on the scene with Ozzy he just didn't knock on the Door he kicked the fucker in. and to see him with Leslie brings a tear to my eyes because they can been gone in a flash. Leslie is always the General on stage. He's one of ONLY a handful that invented this hard rock sound we listen to today. He can play as fast or as slow as he mother fuckin wants, and it will sound perfect. Every note tells a story. Less is more.
I like how he shows respect for the Lord and gives thanks for his gifts. He has my respect.

I used to go see Mountain at the Eastown in Detroit.Leslie has always been one of my favorites.A true legend of rock & roll. Listen to the riff at the start of "Never in My Life",...classic. Nice to see Zak give him the respect he deserves.
