Usually I do the same exact process he does accept all i do is set it and rinse it in my sink and just rinse it out and then I will oil and grease it back
i have come across the issue that the AR clutch and the spool tension knob's bearing get saltwater intrusion, is there a way to prevent that?? because i dont want to have to take apart my reel after every outing to avoid rust in those bearings =/
Turn ur break all the way up and rinse the whole reel under water. Make sure u have the break all way up or ull rinse the old saltwater into ur reel. Then wipe ur reel and take the spool out to let it dry. Oil and grease when dry and ur set
@@Mysoline1111when you say turn the brake all the way up, are you referring to the drag or the brakes? If the brakes, do I turn all the inside pins on + turn the dial to max brakes? Just want to clarify bc I'm not sure how that would affect the AR bearing. I assume you are talking about locking down the drag though
Good video 👍🏼if you have line would you wipe it with soaked towel or use hose?
