Here on Long Island, we have the Long Island Expressway (LIE). Due to the high traffic volume, no one really follows the rule of keeping the left lane for passing only. If you tried, you'd end up playing leapfrog the entire way because the left lane is usually the only one that's moving. A lane-hog warning would probably be more effective on less congested highways. It would be more proficient to have a warning that you’re not driving at the pace of the traffic lane. There’s nothing worse than someone doing 40 in a 60 holding everyone up.
Definitely struggling to understand the Voyager logic. It would make total sense if it was CHEAP. As far as raising Pacifica MSRP to justify... is Stellantis really in a position to increase the price of ANYTHING they sell right now? I just noticed that so far in 2024, the Bronco is finally outselling the Wrangler. Wrangler sales have taken a bit of a dump, despite all the 2024 updates they received. This marque is doing a horrible job of adapting to the "ease off V6 and V8 suvs/trucks" world of today, while plenty of other brands aren't.
Waiting to see all the comments “ The left lane is not a fast / passing lane. I can sit there if I want “ just can’t wait for those people. I’m sure they are also complaining that people are tailgating them, cutting them off etc. I wish more states made this a law because it is so so annoying.

Somehow I see Altima's driving at night w/out headlights even in a car that has automatic headlights. Not too optimistic about an Altima owner even being able to comprehend basic driving concepts like moving out of the left lane. Same applies to Forte and Ram drivers...

Wow! This week's news was full of interesting stories! I was especially excited to learn more about the Nissan left lane warning and the news from Toyota and Stellantis this week.
Nissan always has a great stuff like 4 wheels turning back in early 90’s,the standard HID headlights early 2000’s and the 360 view camera since 2012 I believe?
That Pro Pilot Assist feature on the Nissans should be on every car, and if people still don't do it, then a small plastic hand should extend from the sun visor to smack them across the cheeks. People in Europe can be trained not to hog the passing lane, but for some reason, North American drivers can not learn new rules 😢
It depends on how they implement it. It should also take into consideration if you’re planning to continue passing vehicles. And I also think it should nudge ppl to go into the right most lane. And help maintain distance between cars. More I think about it, this is just self driving
In Seattle, Washington (ALL of Western Washington actually) SO MANY PEOPLE camp in the left lane, driving 55-60mph…….the drivers are CLUELESS!!!!! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
I live in Las Vegas (mostly) and have many, Many friends and family in West L.A. and Malibu, Calabasas area. NONE of these people drive the 6 hour drive to Las Vegas, they ALL fly. (Electric car range doesn’t matter to them).
I rented a late model Nissan Rogue which is highly optioned from Hertz yesterday. This is the most dangerous vehicle I’ve been in for some time. The gear shift is super dangerous. The drive, reverse and park automatic gear shift should come with a warning. Especially for older drivers. Park is not push up but a button posted ONTOP of the gear shift. When the car is running… drivers door will not open until turning off the car. The worst part about this rental is the driver seat adjust backwards when getting out and forward on its own without asking it too. I’ve been so nauseous as well due to the tires which seem to be a bit “jumpy when making gradual turns that shouldn’t. Guessing partly due to its upright posture. Please be careful on the Nissan Rogue. Such a dangerous combination of features.
American drivers need this safety system. American drivers think they have the right to block traffic! I know in Pennsylvania, it is very illegal to block traffic in the left/fast lane!
Ahh yes just what chrsyler needed...a second minivan, how pathetic. The nissan tech is a neat concept and the corolla would be cool to have assuming you find one without mark up Edit: I'd love to see Tavares booted from stellantis. Imagine if Tim Kuniskis returned. Itd be a much brighter future
Nissan's anti-left-lane hog assist: what a waste. Do you really think left-lane hoggers will pay any amount of cash for a solution to a problem that's NOT a problem in their mind? Maybe 1 percent. Most of them will not even understand what this system is for, hence will definitely not opt in. A system like that should come standard with the driver assist pack: you tick the box for driver assist stuff, you get the feature without thinking about it.
Stellantis announcing their search for a new CEO one year prior to his departure is SOP in the corporate world. This gives other potential candidates the proper amount of time to either 'accept or deny' the invitation. Then the process moves towards a vote wherein they [the board and/or investors] weigh the 'pros and cons' of the prospective replacement. It is a lengthy and slightly invasive process but nothing out of the ordinary. Frankly, I expected Stellantis to dismiss the current CEO long before his contract expired. I place him in the 'Hall of Shame' right beside Ghoson and the others. Nevertheless, we can only hope the new CEO has a better plan for the sinking ship called _Stellantis._ (I always thought it sounded like a name for an ocean vessel. Nautilus = Stellantis.) As always... Stay classy my friend.
I don't know why Tesla hasn't added Left Lane Hog Monitoring, especially. But all car manufacturers could implement this considering almost every car these days has a camera in the rear and likely in the front too (or some way to sense if a car is in front of you). Left lane hogs are often some of the most dangerous drivers on the road IMO.
My country u.s.a really gotta do something vehicle sizes & weight theres no reason many of these are elephant on wheels some are fast for some odd reason example the cybertruck hummer ev & more. The paino black shirt is nice.🎉
In California, all of our freeways are at least 4 lanes, and the law is that there is technically no passing lane and you can pass cars in any lane (not just the far left). Which is why people just sit in the left lanes all the time.
I'm conflicted with Nissans left lane warning. I feel that it shouldn't be telling people that, but at the same time I wish people would get the heck out of the way.
Carlos Tavares is out the door nothing can save him everybody wants him out including the French government including eyes or which is the parent company that owns part of Ferrari and other companies
Altimas aren’t hogging the lane. Instead they’re racing everyone for their 1st place trophy.

Honestly if "left lane hog" became a common feature it would be revolutionary
Agreed.
The people hogging the left lane know what they are doing. A reminder from the car is not going to matter.
@@hourbee5535 It wont hurt.
