New season pass track, new artifacts, and the "bad luck" artifact boost are the things I'm looking forward to. Should keep me playing for maybe 3-4 weeks.
I'm going to level and gear an alt.. Not decided if I'll even buy the season pass.

Yeah pretty much since they announced native controller support was coming I quit playing and have been waiting for that update. If it was on console I would 1000% play the game more often just based on the accessibility that gives me. Love just hopping into that game to do come crafting and gathering while listening to music or a podcast to just relax. Booting up my pc and sitting in an office chair is not relaxing for me.
I exited the game due to hardware issues (my shit is old AF). But have a 5800x3D and 3060 12gb in the mail. Once I get them installed and things work out. I'll be coming back to the game for a time. I'm looking forward to checking out everything they've added to the game since launch (when i quit).
I really enjoyed New World but the consistency is hurting it for me. Gonna play the wait and see.
Will come back as soon as the expansion goes on sale.. paid 40 bucks for a full game not paying 30 for a mount and a small patch

Controller support isn’t content
They really need to start focusing on repeatable Evergreen Content rather than disposable Seasonal garbage Content that nobody is interested in. Game is so horribly mismanaged it's crazy.

Controller support is not new content. It's support for an oddly shaped keyboard.
Controller support that leads to console platforming, is not new content. It's an opportunity to play the same content on your TV.

NWO, though a great game has had ALOT of issues. And before a game can begin to go ham, they need to hone in on the foundational moving parts of it so when they begin to push the game, everything moves in unison, pve, PvP, etc. I say by season 6 or 7, the game will be at its tip top shape assuming they just stick to the roadmap and continue executing the vision.

Hearing long time dedicated players saying the game isn’t doing enough, I wonder how much of an impact consoles would have. I used to think it would be huge, but from what I’m hearing I’m not so sure. I would come back casually at least.
My big take is there aren’t a lot of console options for MMORPG which means I think there will be more of a turnout than anticipated to test it. Now do they stay? I’m not sure. The state of the game is bad. Another season without OPR or arena changes is rough and no planned new maps according to devs. They hinted at a full PvP region, but what is that going to really do for this game? My prediction is that they are drastically going to change the game in June and everything we have all done is going to be pointless which is why they won’t tell us. And that would be better for the long term health of the assuming they get people to buy into the game - though personally I don’t think they have the trust to pull that off.
@@KingSwiftieTV You might be right. They game themselves a hard row to hoe with the totally player driven economy and territory control. As you say, something like switching to a more traditional mmo structure would upset many current players, but how many others would return or try for the first time in the long run?
No one asked for controller support. Literally, not even a single player that still kept playing this beta test, asked for controller support. That is not content. What is wrong with you? Countless people were asking for me, me included. So your first premise is incorrect. I didn’t say controller support is content, that’s why it’s called a foundation level feature. You also say no one is playing but that’s not true ether.

New World died because they can not balance the weapons and equip loads for PvP.

Sorry Ginger but you are really wrong ... this game is DEAD right now.. if they gonna tell us in Juni that we are getting Xbox ( maybe Playstation ) and some PVP mode that is half cooked as contetn for this year .. the game gonna be dead by the end of the year.

@@gingerprimemmo Peak players are now 7.5k ish.. thats the lowest since the game is out.. we have now only 3 servers in EU ! that means.. so thats basicly the peek player base now anyway for EU... The DEVs killed the game ... honestly... They would need to have something so BIG and GREAT for juni to atleast get 20 - 30k player base back from 1,5 year ago... ( and keep them ). But they want have anything like that. Because what ? and how ? Even if they bring it to XBox for exmaple... the Game gonna Run very bad... ( honestly... do you think that game gonna run well on a xbox then it barley runs good on a 4000$ dollar pcs with 16 cores... ) No i think NW is done... i have 5.500+ hours in the game.. and i love it still ..but i am telling you its Over... they just fucked up. I can give you so many other reasons... But they just focus on the wrong things to fix... ( like story line ... and some pve content ) then on PVP and what people asked them for 2 years... Like a simple new OPR MAP!!! how the hell is it so hard to make one!.. but sure pls tell me why i am wrong .. open for a talk here.
@@fatjay9402 hot take a new opr map won’t do anything, people aren’t quitting cause there’s one opr map. They need variety of content, also the player count isn’t that low and it’s still easy enough to find groups for all content in the game
