In our operation the person that empty an oil jug refills the oil jug and if not they leave a note or put the jug where the other person can tell it's empty

The one thing I learned after 20 + years of growing up farming. The work will get done, can’t get it done in one day. Patience is the word and you have to learn it. It will all work out and thank you all for hard work.

Mom's place was surrounded by angus, corn, bean, and feed operations. We always loved harvest. Typically at night, much better than television.

Wow! What a ride! Well, no matter how problematic the start to harvest season may be, your beautiful smile helps to keep it all in perspective. That is tough when you all put all that effort into maintaining your combine in the off season ends up at the shop on the first day. But then combines have always been skittish critters so it should be expected, that is your life with a combine in it. Good bless you Miss Erin, your ability to maintain your perspective is an inspiration to all who watch you. Keep trucking lil lady and may God bless you and yours...

Glad you guys were at least able to get a rental at the start of harvest. The biggest problem we faced this year with our grain harvest was locating certain parts from Deere. I feel your pain on a major break down like that!

We had orchard, vines, berries, and vegetables. Seemed like we were planting and harvesting the entire growing season...

Great video Erin, good to see your family well into harvest! Sorry to hear about the combine motor though! With all the additional costs farmers are facing this year, you certianly do need equipment breakdown! Hopefully, it won't be major! Looking forward to regular harvest videos, they're great!
