- Our home from home in Spain is our little place in Altos del Limonar. We love it. We have everything we need, good neighbours, good bars and restaurants and local shops and supermarkets. We show you around the area from the pharmacy at one end of Calle Rafael Anton Perez to the Chinese shop and everything in between.
We have the Porter House, Home Style Furniture, BMW garage, Pool maintenance, Johnson's Supermarket, Marmaris Kebabs, Concierto Cafeteria, Shannons Irish Bar, Antica Lucania Pasta and Pizza, King Food House, Daves Place Bar and Grill, McGills Restaurant, Restaurant Rendezvous, the Barbecue Shop, Bazar Bejing Chinese Shop, Kelly's Kutz, The Lemon Tree and featuring Kevin and Jane at The Bake & Butty.

Never heard of bacon butty before (EEUU), so had to look up what it is. 👍 por las lecciones de español.
Hi Rob, Yes a very popular northern English term for a bacon sandwich. A butty beimg usually two slices of buttered bread or a buttered bun housing beautifully fried bacon....Oh I'm getting so hungry just thinking about it....Un sándwich de tocino.
The restaurant is spelt Bake N Butty so another play on words as Kevin is very keen on baking and produces some exceptional food out the oven.

So funny we were in the King Food restaurant the other night.
Ordered our electric bikes from Decathlon in the end and we get them on Weds hopefully from La Zenia.

Hi mike and Yvonne, another great video, we went round that area last time we were over, not far from us, but we usually go around to where st James irish bar, Will have to make this area our local as its much closer so not far to stumble home after a few drinks. The good thing is, where we are, is in the middle of a very densley populated area with so many places we have yet to try, even after 4 fours of being there. I noticed when you went into the shop to buy mint you weren’t wearing a face covering. Have the Spanish stopped enforcing this when out and about? Many thanks for the video. Can’t wait until we are out in that region next year.
Hi Del, Yvonne forgot to put her mask on, we were told off in the shop. So mask wearing is required in shops, public transport and other public areas. They are not required on the streets and beach areas now.
This may vary in the different municipalities in Spain, so check for each area you visit. The infections in the Valencian community is low so they are doing everything right we think.
