We are seeing more managed money and,to an extent, institution money entering the [crypto] space.Anecdotally speaking, I know of many people who are working at hedge funds or other investment managers who are trading cryptocurrency personally, the question is, when do people start doing it with their firms and funds?
After watching about 20 videos where they all use the word "liquidity" as if everybody instinctively understands what it is, this video finally explained it. Thank you!
@R K The definition of liquidity when talking about crypto exchanges is very different to the traditional dictionary definition. By the way, the first word of your comment should be "Ever", not every. Google it.
@R K "the more buyers & sellers an exchange has, the larger its order book & the more "liquid" is said to be." That is what liquidity in this context means, not the Google definition. But, after all, the video also says that this is an advanced topic, so some people may not be as smart as you,.... I think.
@R K I am not trying to prove you wrong, son, you are the one who sent an unsolicited and offensive comment to Google liquidity and now tell me to go learn something. I don't have to prove what you already know.
Some channels say they have simple explanations, but not! A lot of beautiful drawings and a tangle of info. I`ve watched like 3 videos before and only now I could understand it. Thank you!
Sooooo glad I found you!! There are giant lightbulbs going off above my head now. I am going to binge watch each and every video you have. THANK YOU!!!!
This is a GREAT SHORT VIDEO about the general concept of UniSwap and ideology .. but, as you asked, here are a couple more pressing questions as fast as the exchanges and governance processes are evolving .. 1. explain "LAYERS" .. 2. explain "1559 Token"
I appreciate your videos. So many times I used to have to stop and pause and now I get it but thinking about valuation so it seems a little slow haha, it’s the right combination. Great job as always
Newbie here on your channel. So first of all Nate Martin voice is really fantastic. My ears will really glad to listen. 2nd this is very informative. Would definitely browse the rest of the videos. Keep it up and more power!!!
7:29 "... no matter how large the order size or how tiny the liquidity pool." I'm just beginning to look into uniswap, so I know almost nothing. What if the liquidity pool is tiny, like in the example with 10 ETH and 10,000 DAI, and someone needs to buy 11 ETH? I missed that in the video.
@99bitcoins Would this mean that the same token/coin would have different value in terms of dollars when compared on Centralized and decentralized exchanges? Since it really depends on the constant value. What if two different liquidity pools are created with ETH and DAI in the same DEX? Then the price would vary for the same token in different liquidity pools based on the number of ETH and DAI that pool consist of?
Hello 99 ! Could u pls also make a small video on unilend coin / uft coin . It’s seems another uniswap coin on it’s very early stage . ! Thank you so much !
You've got to admit it's pretty funny to state that traditional exchanges do extensive research into coins it will support at the same time that Coinbase announces it will now support SHIB
Thanks for the analysis! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (air carpet target dish off jeans toilet sweet piano spoil fruit essay). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
You're doing a fantastic job! I need some advice: My SafePal wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (air carpet target dish off jeans toilet sweet piano spoil fruit essay). How can I transfer them to Binance?
So if I see that a certain coin is a very low price on a certain platform, and that platform says the coin is only available to purchase on uniswap the price that it is the platform you saw it on won’t apply, and if uniswap is the only place I can buy it how will I know if I made a lot from my investment, especially if the price on the platform I saw it on Doesnt apply? My whole focus is to invest and make money from my investment.
Nate once again you set me straight! Great video. Can you do one on a security token, I am looking to possibly invest in one specifically INX Limited. It just closed it's IPO and is supposed to be SEC regulated and retail friendly. I will be looking forward to hearing what you have to say about it if you can do a video on it that is. I am not sure of your particular criteria for making a video on a specific topic or item. Thanks for straightening me out with uniswap!
I will never use dexes now, the fees are way higher than centralized exchanges, also the risk of getting crypto from already blocked addresses in centralized exchanges.
Thank you so much for your hard work! 😊 I wanted to ask something unrelated: 🤔 I have a set of words 🤷♂️. (behave today finger ski upon boy assault summer exhaust beauty stereo over). What is this? 🤔
Problem with Uniswap. I have activated “view only” and want to revert to trading functionality. I know my seed phr@se but it’s asking to link with another wallet. Help.
Yes, you can swap it. Uniswap is a decentralized exchange built on the Ethereum blockchain, and it was originally designed for swapping ERC-20 tokens. However, with the advent of Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), which is an ERC-20 token backed by Bitcoin, it is now possible to swap Bitcoin on Uniswap. To swap Bitcoin on Uniswap, you would need to first convert your Bitcoin to WBTC on a custodial or non-custodial exchange that supports the conversion. Once you have WBTC, you can then use Uniswap to trade it for other ERC-20 tokens or Ethereum (ETH).
Ok, so are there DEX's out there that can handle a wider range of crypto? Coins like Bitcoin aren't ERC20, so they can't be on Uniswap, right? Surely an exchange that could handle all of them in a unified way would be even more valuable?
I think its fair to say that most crypto token's value today follow the "greater fool" principle. That's not to be disrespectful to them, after all our fiat currency is pretty much the same idea.
