Even the lawyer looks like a friend of somebody hired by a friend it the production crew. Nobody on a movie set should ever touch a gun (no matter where they found it) without an expert official permission. 4) If this production chose wrong and cheap crew for key roles such an armorer, the producers are also responsable for this crime. 5) Did the armorer cleared the gun to use or rehearsal or did Alec took it without her knowledge? 7) You never ever point a gun into someones direction. Alec Baldwin broke gun safety rule one “never point a weapon at a person” fake or real. He cross-drawed it and pointed it at cameraman, woman who died and one other.

She’s so emotionless when they are showing the aftermath of the incident. The video sounds so distressing and even the cop seems shaken reliving it. She’s just sitting there like she’s watching a commercial on tv. The jury is noticing this I’m sure.
Watching her is frustrating… it’s clear she feels no ownership in this tragedy. There is definitely shared ownership but she should own her part. It doesn’t look like she does though.
Like so many Comments are saying … No, the Defendant does not look ANYTHING like she did on the Rust Set … that is obvious, but what is EQUALLY as obvious is, that without her even opening her mouth, who she is on the inside is THE SAME as who she was on the Rust Set … and without even hearing her utter one word, you can see the indifference, casualness, and callousness in all her facial expressions and lack thereof as well! She may look presentable but she is still the exact same TRAIN WRECK she was when she was at work.
Perfectly said! She is exactly who she showed us she was. She hasn’t changed a bit on the inside. But she has definitely made herself more presentable. Hoping her fakeness doesn’t fool the jury. As far as I’m concerned, she’s still that messy headed, ugly colored hair, fake crying excuse for a human!
Literally, they can make fake guns look real like real ones even. Like who in the heck when you’re watching a movie pauses it and looks so much into the gun to see if it’s real or not and if you do, you’re weird !
I think she is a sociopath and wanted to see some action on the set. It was her job to keep people safe. She is 💯 percent responsible. This generation is a bunch of spoiled brats who think black nails and green hair are cool it's just not the generation of our grandparents or us kids from the 80s. It's ridiculous she was responsible for checking that gun and handing it to the actor safe and checked for safety. She did not do her job and this tragedy happened. Responsibility solely is hers and she caused it.
Baldwin is guilty ! ALWAYS Keep The Gun Pointed In A Safe Direction This is the primary rule of gun safety. Common sense dictates the safest direction, depending on different circumstances. ALWAYS Keep Your Finger Off The Trigger Until Ready To Shoot When holding a gun, rest your finger alongside the frame and outside the trigger guard. Until you are actually ready to fire, do not touch the trigger. ALWAYS Keep The Gun Unloaded Until Ready To Use If you do not know how to open the action or inspect the chamber(s), leave the gun alone and get help from someone who does. Nothing can ever replace safe gun handling. -NRA- All guns are always loaded. Keep your gun pointed in a safe direction. Keep your finger off of the trigger and outside the trigger guard until you are ready to shoot. Be certain of your target. -Jeff Cooper's Rules- Treat all weapons as though they are loaded and/or ready to use. Do not play with weapons and NEVER point one at anyone, including yourself. -SAGAFTRA- Before any firearm is used in a rehearsal, an on-camera sequence, or off-camera, the Production will conduct a safety meeting with all involved personnel to acquaint cast and crew members with relevant safety issues. This safety meeting shall include an “on-site walk-through” and/or “dry run” with the Property Master, designated Production representative, and anyone who will be using and/or handling a firearm. It is important that everyone treat all firearms, whether they are real, rubber, or replica firearms as if they are working, loaded firearms. -Movie Industry Rules-
Of course its her damn fault. Was her job to check the weapons, she was negligent. So if alec Baldwin got his lines wrong, would that be the cameraman's fault ? Get real.
Wow. The case against Hannah is stronger than I thought. STILL does not take the blame of the UNSAFE WORK CONDITIONS off the PRODUCERS. THAT NEEDS TO BE A SEPARATE TRIAL.
Why why why have real guns with bullets in them in a movie set? A prop gun should never have real bullets! What happened to sound affects! This story is sickening! Everybody on set guilty !
@@sarahadair5890 This person who brung the ammo is a major person of blame, along with the armorer who didn't ensure the gun was loaded with the inert rounds...
The woman seated to the right of the defendant is ready for the club and/or is ready to film an episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” What are your (plural) thoughts?
Hannah’s legal team member looks like Big Ang from Mob Wives. Duck lips. Fake hair. Loads of black eyeliner, butterfly winged fake lashes, fake long nails, gaudy costume jewelry.
The defendant looks more like a lawyer than that woman sitting next to her. Omg she looks like a street walker. Didn’t the lawyers tell her to tone it down? 😮
"This is the worst day of my life" "I am so f***ed" I am so glad she was more worried about herself rather than the woman fighting for her life. Daddy might have gotten you this job but daddy isnt going to get you out of this.
No crap. With her picking her nose and yawning it was obvious she thinks they are wasting her time. Shame on her for being high and not being responsible.
Why does her female lawyers outfit annoy me so much?.. It's so distracting and I hate that u am going to say inappropriate like my 92 year old grandma would but that's exactly how it feels. You are on courttv not real housewives of NM.
As much as i should refrain from picking up on her appearance as it really shouldnt matter however for a defence team it is inadvisable to have personnel that by their appearance cause a distraction particularly to the jury. Maybe this is part of their strategy but then on the other hand it could be construed as giving the impression of an unprofessional team. I believe she is clearly competent to be the paralegal & has all the necessary professional skills & competence....but in court you don't want to give any possible air of unprofessionalism. It is a risk if part of their strategy is based on a distraction at the defence table particularly as their client is on trial rooted in the principle of professionalism & competence....😳😏
In her hysterical state on the video, did Hannah ever ask: "how did she get shot with a real bullet?!" Why wasn't she saying this? If I was the armorer, that's all I would've been desperate to know at that point. How she could've gotten shot for real. Unless she knew... 🤔
Well you should not say anything to cops after an event like this. She unfortunately did talk to the cops so that might screw her. But her asking your question would have been pretty stupid.
The live rounds is the entire problem, if they never ended up on set (because they have no place, to avoid situations like this..!), the defense (and most people) love trying to blame stupid Baldwin, for doing his job as an actor and pretending to shoot a gun for a movie, he's supposed to be able to muzzle waive people and pull trigger safely, because there is only supposed to be inert rounds and its not HIS job to know inert rounds from real live rounds ( that should never be there..) its the armorers job to ensure only inert rounds are loaded into a gun handed to an actor as a "cold gun".
Because of her dad! She gave an 11 year old child actor a gun with out checking it first and numerous other mistakes. That's was on the film the old way with Nicolas cage.
Why is the defense strategy always to belittle other people. People who were doing their jobs to the best of their ability in the situation caused by the defendant. It is disgusting.
She looks a lot different. Shes tried to clean her image up, but she has a very "hard and cold looking" resting face. She looks mean and arrogant from every angle and every camera shot. I'll never understand how LIVE bullets end up on a movie set... just think about that....its ludacris for that to happen and insanely negligent! She's got a lot to answer for...as do a lot of them. Imagine having such an amazing job as she did...and then you do this?!!!? I would love such an opportunity. I can't make it make ANY sense.
3:23:17 this shot explains everything… She could care less. She feels entitled to innocence, and is obviously used to not being held accountable… Can’t even stand up for the jury, instead, playing on her phone, and yawning like this is an inconvenience… The worst part is how she rolls her eyes all the time
😂 hard to take her serious as a lawyer, although we shouldn’t be judging her… I hope we get to see her talk to the witnesses!! I can’t with those eyebrows tho 😂
@@dabsallday9938 I don’t think she’s an attorney because when they call Counselors to go up to Bench, all attorneys go up there, but she’s probably a Paralegal Looks like she’s toned down her makeup & dress! Judge probably said something bc she was not professional looking that first & second days

Glad she toned it down, the Judge is right, definitely not a professional look for court! The Judge also scares me a little 😂 and just from seeing her the first day of the trial, she’s definitely a no nonsense kind of Judge!!
I love how the lady at the defence table keeps smiling when the prosecutor is just crushing it. You can tell she’s thinking, “Damn, that B*** is goooood!!” LOL
wow the judge must be impressed with the time they wasted and how slowly they worked to fix this problem the officer seems like hes going to get sick watching it again shows how bad it was.
The statement by the CSI witness that the powder in a live round can be heard when shaken is completely false. Many different powders are used where you can't hear anything when loaded into a cartridge. Also, the volume of powder that is used to fill the casing can make a dramatic difference in weight and sound.
I think he was mistaken (not up to this part yet) and actually meant the inert rounds not loaded with powder, normally loaded with a bb or the like to rattle, are clearly different when shaken. I agree its not always possible to tell a live round by shaking the powder because some are loaded with wads or near 100% capacity. What is easily done is to weigh the round, projectiles should be of known weight and cases are generally close assuming they're made by the same manufacturer.
@@johnsambo9379 All of the Prosecutor witnesses said you can not identify a live round from a photo......... then she used a photo to identify a live round...... she must think people are stupid.. ,,,,,,,,
Now I am listening to the Defense Opening- way too early to make assumptions about the actual case- but I think Defense Opening was well done too. Most trials I have watched don't have attorneys with calm, organized presentations.
Curious that the defense is criticizing the professionalism of the police in a chaotic crime scene when they themselves are disorganized and ineffective with years to prepare. And the paralegal is the epitome of unprofessional. 🙄
The bullet expert women at the end either lied or made a mistake. On pistol rounds eith a full load compressed you cant shake them and feel anything. She said you could. Even if filled w 1/ 2 powder its very hard to feel anything on a shake test. And you can buy primers in silver or brass means little. Not sure why she said that she must not understand reloading or is playing dumb.
It doesn’t matter if Alec had training if the gun had dummy bullets. No real bullets = no death. Easy as that. I mean what if Alec was driving a car, a mechanic clears the car, says good breaks etc. breaks fail during a scene n kills someone. Was Alec Baldwin at fault? He didn’t check the car breaks? No. It wasn’t his job. It would be the mechanics.
I posted this on PT. 2 as well… because I think it’s important & the idea that he’s lying is a big deal.. The real issue here is Baldwin saying he didn’t pull the trigger. If you know anything about guns… they DONT go off unless the hammer falls. PERIOD. Even if you drop it, modern (this WAS a modern revolver made to look old) pistols have firing pin plates/blocks which block the hammers pin unless cocked back ready to fire.. which prevents the hammer from striking the cap even if you drop the gun right on the hammer. So despite what you see in silly films… guns DO NOT go off when hit/thrown around/ or dropped. And this was a brand new COLT… which is extremely high end, so this gun wasn’t defective. Guns are always fired once and checked at the factory to make sure it’s working. The point is: *the only way this gun fired is by pulling the trigger. Period* with guns.. especially high end like COLT… the whole, “I have no clue it just went off maybe it’s defective” - really don’t work. Not saying he wanted to hurt her… I’m saying he was negligent, pulled the trigger, & he’s now saying he didn’t. *Oh and it’s ALSO a single action… that means he had to cock the hammer BEFORE he could even pull the trigger*
They said a gun had accidentally gone off twice before this incident so maybe it was faulty . I dont know why you have to put words in capitals or bold like people reading your comment are that thick you have to highlight your comment .
He pulled the trigger, no doubt. There's footage of him doing the draw just before the negligent discharge with his finger clearly on the trigger. All that being said, in reality, he's supposed to be able to pull the trigger on a prop gun loaded with inert rounds on a movie set, fault lies in how the live ammo ended up on set and in the gun. I do not get this BS about an armorer/movie production having to BUY dummies and this reference to low quality ones with no audible indicator!!! FFS can an armorer not make them? Its a simple case of loading a empty case with an inert or fired primer, dropping a BB or rice or the like inside case for audible indicator of dummy round and then seating a projectile, this is so easy im baffled that they have to purchase them... I could make a dummy round for mere cents in the time it took me to type this comment...
I think they are going to have a hell of a time with proving Baldwin criminally negligent. However, Gutierrez is most likely guilty because she was the armorer and had a duty to ensure that live ammunition wasn’t on set.
Baldwin didn't both as the shooter and as the producer of the movie. Gross negligence on his part. Never fire a weapon 1) at someone and 2) before checking if the rounds are live.
Clearly this set had major issues brought on by producers attempting to make a quick and cheap production film, so much so, that several members of the set walked off hours before the tragedy. The entire set was too lax. Target shooting out in the middle of nowhere during down time is not unreasonable, but using work props to do so is. An armorer shouldn't be so saddled with responsibilities and low pay that safety is compromised, and she should have been diligent at all costs, but she wasn't, but neither were any of the other responsible parties. I now understand why a case has been brought against Alec Baldwin. As an investigator myself of many years, I simply cannot dismiss sabotage. And this young inexperienced and immature young woman would be the perfect armorer to get past if a disgruntled employee wanted revenge. It's all so very sad.
Cuz real guns can be used with BLANK ammunition which is what was supposed to be the case, however watching the interrogation of the prop company owner who revealed texts from Hannah saying she was gonna fire live ammunition from the prop guns and he told her NO!! Love ammunition isn’t even allowed on grounds as per ATF and union safety laws and regulations so she knowingly and willingly brought it on location based on everything I’ve seen from the interrogation of numerous people and witnesses
I do not think Alec is guilty of killing Halyna, the woman who handed him the gun deserves a life sentence ... Alec is only guilty of not checking her credentials prior to handling the guns ...
He assumed it was an empty cold gun. He is supposed to check the gun with the armorer before it's handed to him. He is definitely guilty of negligence.
@@Buddha_Girl1 it's definitely on her but it's also on him for not checking the gun and assuming it's fine. If you are handed a gun on a movie there's a process.
His job as an actor with a firearm is to know everything he can about that firearm. How to hold it, fire it, the ammunition, etc. If he may point the weapon at another person in a scene, or the camera, he should be 100% there's nothing dangerous in the firearm@@genera3541
Baldwin is still at fault as well. Shes wrong as well but the clown that was checking this womens ammo also is at fault i dont think its just her fault
I’m curious as to how it’s his fault when he’s just guilty of trusting she’d done her job 🤔 how would he have known the gun was loaded w real bullets??
She's done something similar before on the film the old way, gave a gun to an 11 year old child without checking it first amongst other things. Only got the job because of her dad and simply needs to go to jail
@@pinkfreud62 oh my gosh I totally agree. I cannot stop looking at her the lady next to her who I the first thing that came to mine is she looks like she’s a Chola and I don’t know why anybody would let her appear that way in court all I could do was stare at her the whole time and I just don’t understand it.
This judge is a mess: starts off by telling jurors that “accidents happen,” twice gives the wrong expected end date of trial, and has to correct her statement “let the evidence begin.”
I noticed that too.. LOL I’ll check Law & Crime and see if they have a Day 2.. I’ll post the link if they do! :) They don’t have a Day 2 either.. 🤷🏽♀️ that’s weird…
OMFG the defense blaming stupid Baldin (i don't like him one bit...) pointing a gun and pulling the trigger, that's what he's supposed to do, its a MOVIE, her job was to ensure the gun was SAFE to do so... The whole gun safety rules thing don't apply to filming movies SMFH...Because if they did they would never draw a weapon, its a movie supposed to represent the situation of cowboys shooting each other...Not a problem when the gun is loaded with inert rounds, the whole problem is the live rounds and the NEGLIGENCE of the armourer allowing LIVE ROUNDS to be loaded into this gun. Its pure negligence, not a mere accident. Whoever brung the live rounds is to blame along with the person who allowed them to be loaded into the gun, the latter is a known thing as its the armorer! Who brung the live rounds remains to be seen...
Whether thr ammunition came from her or not, it was her responsibility to check each and every round used on set and maintain safety. She utterly failed to do her job responsibly and should be held accountable. All she had to do was do her job properly and responsibly and the victim would be alive today.
Pretty interesting, the Judge saying "as they say accidents happen" in her opening remarks apologizing for a delay in the start. Not judging - I frequently put my foot into my mouth in subtle (and sometimes large) ways.
She looks a whole lot better with her hair looking normal and her makeup neat and attractive. I'm surprised how awful she was put together and working on the movie set looking like she was (I don't have the proper words but you can look for yourself and understand what I mean)
The judge is in charge of what is shown on the camera...not court tv. The first video was not shown as it was of the people shot. The police officers went straight into the church to lend medical assistance until the fire department arrived.
@@lauramaples1856 I posted before you... referring to the user- comment and I agree with you. It was a court order...we heard the judge say at the beginning of the trial to the Court TV person...not to show the first video that would be shown with the first witness. She has also called for the TV person to come to her bench with the lawyers.
Hannah is not guilty. Her boss, who hired her, is responsible for the negligence. HANNAH WAS UNDERMINED SINCE THE FIRST DAY SHE STEPPED FOOT ON THAT SET. Her bosses texts prove how he undermined Hannah and allowed the props department to also undermine Hannah during the filming of Rust. Hannah is NOT props and she is NOT an errand girl. She is an ARMORER and she was prevented from doing her job due to her boss, and co-workers in the Props Dept. who consistently took her away from her Armorer duties. Her bosses texts prove just how callous and irresponsible he really was during the filming of Rust. I hope Hannah can prove this in court, as she did during her police interview, interrogation. Hannah tried desperately to display professionalism on the set of Rust. Her texts and communication prove this after the two accidental discharges on set. Hannah wanted those discharges reported and her BOSS said NO. Her boss ridiculed Hannah for wanting to follow procedure. Hannah deserved better than the irresponsible props crew, and boss she tolerated. Shame on the film industry for allowing this tragedy to happen. A woman is dead, and another young woman (Hannah) is fighting for her reputation and career, that barely got started, due to the negligence of her boss and props co-workers.
@@Buddha_Girl1 Hannah is innocent. She was most certainly undermined by the Production Crew and her boss who owns the armorer and props company. In fact, I think EVERYONE displayed unprofessionalism on that set due to the inability to follow procedure which is endemic in the American workforce. Hannah was prevented from doing her job properly. She was pushed around by the Props Manager and her boss. The texts prove this.
Court TV takes way to many breaks. In the middle of someone's testimony, they take a break. Top of the hour they take another break. Side bar, they take another break. Let us watch the trial in real time with no breaks !!!!!
The defense is trying really hard to find fault with the retired officer is how he dealt with the scene... especially how the police officers' caring role when they got there was their first priority...oh who should have corraled witnesses...you should have looked for evidence straight away...you should have logged your efforts immediately. This is to throw doubt on the chain of custody to set up that Hannah's boss was in some way responsible for the live round as they outlined in their opening statements.
"She was forced to do two jobs." So.. what? Then she has the responsibility to tell who ever got her hired, that that's not how it works and that safety on set has absolute priority. Thats ALSO part of her job.

ALWAYS Keep The Gun Pointed In A Safe Direction
This is the primary rule of gun safety. Common sense dictates the safest direction, depending on different circumstances.
ALWAYS Keep Your Finger Off The Trigger Until Ready To Shoot
When holding a gun, rest your finger alongside the frame and outside the trigger guard. Until you are actually ready to fire, do not touch the trigger.
ALWAYS Keep The Gun Unloaded Until Ready To Use
If you do not know how to open the action or inspect the chamber(s), leave the gun alone and get help from someone who does.
Nothing can ever replace safe gun handling.
-NRA-
All guns are always loaded.
Keep your gun pointed in a safe direction.
Keep your finger off of the trigger and outside the trigger guard until you are ready to shoot.
Be certain of your target.
-Jeff Cooper's Rules-
Treat all weapons as though they are loaded and/or ready to use. Do not play with weapons and NEVER point one at anyone, including yourself.
-SAGAFTRA-
Before any firearm is used in a rehearsal, an on-camera sequence, or off-camera, the Production will conduct a safety meeting with all involved personnel to acquaint cast and crew members with relevant safety issues.
Get real.

I believe she is clearly competent to be the paralegal & has all the necessary professional skills & competence....but in court you don't want to give any possible air of unprofessionalism. In her hysterical state on the video, did Hannah ever ask: "how did she get shot with a real bullet?!" Why wasn't she saying this? If I was the armorer, that's all I would've been desperate to know at that point. How she could've gotten shot for real. Unless she knew... 🤔

BINGO!
I'm surprised they didn't do a drug test on her. She seems a bit high to me.
Everyones thats at fault should be held accountable.

Is that Kim K chomping on the gum?

They normally have to tell the defendant to tone it down, maybe they should’ve had an office meeting about themselves!

What is going on in the background with all the reality tv make up. This isn't the housewives show😂
I posted this on PT.
Crime Circus just put up a video with 2 of AB's phone conversations with a detective where he (Baldwin) said he put his finger on the trigger.

Bottom line: it was her job to check the gun. She didn't. Guilty. As to the 2nd charge, it was never tested to see what it was. Ng.
What is appropriate crt attire..ex defence team?
I’m confused as to why they were even using a real gun, and if they really felt the need to, why did they have ammunition??
Cuz real guns can be used with BLANK ammunition which is what was supposed to be the case, however watching the interrogation of the prop company owner who revealed texts from Hannah saying she was gonna fire live ammunition from the prop guns and he told her NO!! Love ammunition isn’t even allowed on grounds as per ATF and union safety laws and regulations so she knowingly and willingly brought it on location based on everything I’ve seen from the interrogation of numerous people and witnesses
