Beta 2024 XTrainer - 250cc vs 300cc (Geoff Ballard's Thoughts)

- For many years now, Beta’s XTrainer - a lightweight, rider-friendly, detuned and cheaper version of its hardnosed enduro-model cousins - has carved out a unique market niche for itself. And by managing to appeal to a huge cross-section of riders - from the smaller or less experienced to those with a taste for extreme terrain - the Italian manufacturer has sold an absolute motser of the things!
Self-avowed XTrainer fan, Geoff Ballard, has had an XTrainer 300 in the shed for the past four years. And aside from really enjoying the riding experience aboard it, the Aussie enduro icon reckons he’s constantly got a dozen mates lining up to take it off his hands.
But now that Beta has introduced significant upgrades to both the 250cc and 300cc XTrainers for 2024, how does GB think these two XT models compare? And does it make sense that the 250 has always lived in the shadow of its 300cc counterpart? Listen in as one of Australia’s most decorated enduro racers identifies both capacities’ pros and cons, and the type of rider each is likely to best suit...
Geoff should get a commission from Beta for every Xtrainer they sell.
Yep I want one too.
Beautiful bikes 👍
Beta 🐴💯💪🚀
When will they put a 390 in?
For reference, what is Jeff's height and weight? I am 6'0" and 200 pounds and wondering if the XTrainer will feel too small for me.
I’m getting ready to buy another one, not sure which one yet. The X is little over an inch shorter than the rest. I’m 6’, 185 lbs and just flatfoot the X. I’m almost tip toe on the others without the lowering link
@@jsk4722 same here. I’m pretty much flat foot on the Xtrainer. A little more than tip tow on the 300RR. Have you had an Xtrainer before?
I'm so confused I thought an xtrainer only came as a 300?
In Europe its 250 and 300, in US only 300
@@karikuusik It's 250 as well in the US.
Would be nice to actually know something about the 250 and 300, and why he like it. Not just "he likes it!!!!"
Watch his other videos. He'll tell you why.
